Removed the roof to make jazz separate when he dies, will be adding battle damage aswell. trunk is removable now but will attach back to be arse in bot mode.

That one doesn't actually drop back, you just pop it off.

 

I think this is pretty sweet, especially since you can't GET the car as a hardtop (as far as I know, it's ONLY a convertable)!

 

Really? wow, i feel like a Idiot, i thought there was a ALT that did, hmmmmm.

 

It comes with the top up and a "boot" in the down position. you just switch between the two.

it did come out as a hard top, but was a very, and i mean very limited run production since GM axed pontiac. but they did have hard top Solstices, i think it broke down to no more then 1,500 total as 2010 models and about 500 or less of those were the infamous GXP's.

but back to the mod, looks pretty good!

But really, she's a good size for a convertible/roadster camaro, but the wonderful but small solstice is most definitely smaller than that makes it look.

I wish they weren't killed like Jazz was, even the half-sister car, Saturn's skye, is dead.

thanks to everyone, i didnt know if this was going to work well but it came out better than i thought it would. its like they designed him for this... so he could split at the waist. now battle damage maybe some LEDs and a cannon arm.

 

I'd expect you'd be cleaning up those edges on the trunk and windscreen too? The top view looks really good.

I was thinking it would be sweet if the trunk could be built up to resemble the proper version, e.g. patching up the gaps on the front of it until it reaches the headrests. The mold works pretty well for that since it's not a lot you need to do to make it look way accurate.

 

i will be cleaning it up a bit more but its all very smooth, might not look from cutting the plastic.

 

I'm wondering if the modification could be made to where the top could be removable so that if one wants the top up or down, it would have the flexibility of both.

hahah nice, i like it. i was going for a reaching for his legs look... i thought about doing that but the big hinge that holds him together needed to come off. possible if i could find a model in scale i could make one.
