Wow, Shockwave looks a lot less bullky and barrel-chested then his toy. Phew. He resembles Megatron... and I think they made a point to mostly keep Megs, Scream and him in black and white besides their red optics. Time will tell, and his head on set was already purple.

 

I think it's funny people are only now noticing this.
I noticed this detail back when we first saw the cardboard head on a stick. I noticed it on the toy, and knowing how much this fandom loves change, had always wondered why no one else brought it up.  

 

So Shockwave has a mouth that resembles vaginal dentata.

I actually like the idea of a side-ways mouth for the character. Something we haven't seen yet.

If the game is actually playable, unlike WFC, I'm definitely in.

 

I love that High Moon is doing this game but I am still kinda hesitant about the movie games. I loved War For Cybertron, and really looking forward to the 2nd one. I may just rent this game before I buy it. I never keep my the movie TF games long, but I still have WFC and don't plan on getting rid of it. I love it too much. Hopefully it will kick ass and put the other two movies games to shame. Though seeing Shockwave makes me want it even more.... I don't see why people always say stuff about WFC how multilayer was bad and etc. I honestly never experience much lag or anything besides the new times when they did 10XP and etc it would happen but I didn't have as much problems as other people are making it out to be... though I am excited to see how multilayer will be like for this game.

 

That is not the same for video games. Not many (GOOD) video games take a year to create. Hell I'd say NO good video games do.

 

So Shockwave's grey/silver like he appeared to be in the trailer (with an apparent mouth it seems)..I'm not expecting a purple Shockwave in the movie. Added to that, we have those Twins-style Wreckers...FFS. 

 

Noticing it and bring it up are separate things. I didn't think it was a big enough deal to mention it

I do. I know it's the core gameplay that ultimately matters. But, looking pretty doesn't hurt either. I agree with Waveride. The graphics look really primitive, considering this is a 2011 video game... War for Cybertron had outstanding visuals. Why doesn't this game...?

But, with High Moon as the developer, I'm convinced this game will be pretty great. ROTF was a decently fun game without any involvement from High Moon. So, in my opinion, DOTM can only be better.

It's February, this game doesn't come out till June and you guys think that is what the graphics will look like? They prob put that trailer together a while ago. Im also pretty sure Shockwave will be purple, he was purple in War For Cybertron

 

Yes. That was the case for the ROTF video game and WFC. Those are probably the final graphics we're seeing right now...

Um.... in the grand scheme of modern games, WFC cut a TON of corners and was rather poor (models had a very low polygon count) but made it harder to notice by making the game very dark and shadowy. Turn the gamma and contrast up on your TV and you'll see that WFC looks IDENTICAL to a PS2 or WII game. Compare to REAL outstanding visuals such as Batman: Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 2, etc. It did have fun gameplay tho (aside from the insanely low ammo in campaign mode). If they can meld the WFC fun-factor with the movie-verse characters, it might be a passable time-waster. Otherwise, I'll just wait to pick this one up in the discount bin in three years or so.

 

Still no word on a PC version, hey? Pity...

Hah, games that are made for multi-platform don't get special treatment on the PS3 buddy.
Sure the ps3 is capable of better, but it won't be.
