If I hear one more person complain about 'killing off characters' or saying 'this better not happen over and over' I'm going to knock myself out with the biggest face palm in history!

I wonder if Skyquake lasted long enough to merit getting a toy (I hope so)

my only complaint is the los of Skyquake as well, and i too hope he merits a toy. outside that, i thought the episode was pure gold. i remember thinking when Screamer pulled the energon from Megatron "well it looks like we found a Starscream more successful than the Animated one-he actually killed Megatron!" *Soundwave's drone appears* "nevemind!" :lol

I loved this episode save for Skyqake's death. Knowing that characters are getting killed deadeadead leaves me jaded. Please, Joss Whedon didn't learn his lesson and a lot of people are becoming disillusioned with his works. And this is the man who will direct the live-action Avengers. Be afraid, be very afraid.

I really didn't like TFA but that's one thing they did right. By having that blanket of security and characters' ends left ambiuous real deaths ended up being more shocking and powerful.

Anyway I LOVED the interaction between Megatron and Starscream. I am not a slasher but the scene as he kills Megatron had a chilling intimacy to it.

That was one hell of an amazing series of battle sequences. Love the HD action too on this all. Really ups the ante for this season with the Starscream getting comfortable in his seat already.

Good episode this week, my main complaint is that Skyquake had to be killed off though as I would have loved him as a mainstay, but maybe he'll be a Dark Energon Zombie in the future. I do hope he gets a toy though, preferably with that machine gun. My only other complaint is Skyquake not having an alt mode until he scanned Fowler's jet, did he have to forsake his cybertronian mode to go into stasis? He also already had vehicle kibble, though I know that's becuase they would have to design a new model for a non-kibble one and didn't want to do so.

The B story with Ratchet was really funny, seems like Mr. Combs was having fun in the role.

That's what I don't get, other than the real world reason that they didn't want to design 2 CGI models for a one episode character. I had just assumed, in universe, that he was the Prime version of a Seeker, what with the wings and cockpit chest.

I'm not 100% on 'Quake beign dead. When they killed Cliffjumper, they made hella sure he was dead and never coming back. Skyquake... crashed. To me this screams backdoor. If they wanna keep him dead, they can, but it's got enough wiggle room to bring him back.

Ratchet was fan-friggin'-tastic in this ep. He's so out of his mind when he decided the wants to do somethign scienc-y.

Also interesting to see a different side of Bumblebee. And Starscream was just great. I love this show.

That's pretty rude to nullify a whole handful of opinoins.

Anyway, I just looked at YT and boy that opening sequence is pretty epic.

I actually got a very Wheeljack-y vibe from Ratchet this episode.

I also thought the action was much better in this episode than any of Darkness Rising. Perhaps not better than the Megatron fight, but still excellent.

Enjoyable, but echoing calls to hope that Skyquake get's an encore performance at some stage, he was one of my first TF toys and I was enjoying the idea he might finally get some screen time.

I'd not call anyone who does not read Transformers Novels "Foolish" I'd call they wise since so many people say they are lazily written and show a fundimental lack of understanding of the Characters and huge numbers of points of contridiction both with themselves and other fiction.

I get enough of that reading Stargate books personally.

And I can't really support any fiction that calls Soundwave's lil' Friends Deployers or Minicons
