I was hoping blurrs mold for drag strip but this is ok i guess. Id rather they change the character to fembot rather than shoehorning a robodude into a robochick body.

That said, next 2 stunticons better blow my socks off cuz so far theyre just good not great.

A female character in a female body is not drag, transvestism, transgenderism or anything else. It just makes her a girl.

Drag Strip's a girl (there are girl racers you know - you never watched any of the Fast & Furious movies), Red Alert's a girl, Powerglide's not a plane, Cosmos is not a UFO, Perceptor's not a microscope, Optimus Prime's not supreme commander, Sentinel Prime's not nice, Prowl's not a car, Jetstorm's not a baddie, and apparently 3+ years on, people still haven't grasped the fact that Animated mixes this shit up a bit, with style, flair and some non-TF pop culture.

Gawd forbid the PTBs try to make anything vaguely interesting. Better they should do exactly the same thing for the next 100 years as they've done for the last 25, if only so the outrage on teh internetz doesn't entirely fill up the world's supply of data storage.

Wasn't trying to make it go anywhere. Just pointing out how ridiculous it was to suddenly suggest some sort of sexual act being involved when it comes to combining.

I'd like to point out that Discharge of the Sixturbo team, and also one of the Sixtrain team (Yukikaze?) were both females. Who combined with the rest of their squad.

And the fandom has been fine and / or oblivious to this fact for the better part of seven years now.

Oh, and another thing - both were originally male on their original release (well, they had no individual bios to speak of, actually) and got repurposed as femmebots on the second run (when they got bios). Again, nobody ever complained.

 

Not to make it sound like anything , but it's a fact that:

1- Most combiners are usually male
2- Some of them have a thingie that they can flip/pull out
3- The others usually have a hole that the other male robots can put their thingie in.
4- They feel complete this way, and unstoppable
5 - Ew

Have we even seen anything yet that indicates they are a combiner team in Animated?

I don't remember the Constructicons combining in the show. Did they make appearances in the comic or elsewhere that says they were able to?

Drag Strip as a chick is perfect in my opinion. Animated was indeed chock full of nods to prior series, but also mixed it up a bit creatively. Trying to pretend the Arcee mold is a dude would be a much more difficult stretch.
