This is turning into such a fun little set! For a combiner team, there seems to be an awful lot of variety so far.

 

I am so thankful this set does absolutely nothing for me.

Here is to hoping the add on(non box set) figures have the same effect.

Dragstrip looks hot BTW, I'd buy that. I still think Lockdown is Wildrider and Wreck-Gar is Motormaster.

 

There are a few toys from animated that I don't own but want to get eventually. Besides those I was thinking I was done with animated but man, this makes it hard!
Damn, I might have to get these. I was skipping Cheetor even though I am a member of the club but damn it, It's all or nothing.

Drag Strip is awesome.

Well that was definitely a surprise. I thought Blurr would end up being Dragstrip. Still, it looks pretty good, and like the others it makes me wish I was going.

 

I'm trying to not let my bias against animated play a role this time. It's my attempt at objectively judging the exclusives. Based on the previous 2, I think Dragstrip is the weakest yet. That was what I was trying to say in my first post.

 

Whatever, dude. You don't like Animated, so there's no way you'd ever like this figure. Why bother?

I guess this thread is just for the pro-animated crowd. Again, I hope this set goes over well. If it doesn't, I'm sure the future will not bode well for BotCon exclusives.

If Drag Strip is a she I will be less disappointed but if they went for "that joke" then it's kind of lame.

 

Looks like I was right about them using Arcee for Dragstrip, glad I wasnt wrong!! Maybe Wildrider will be from the Lockdown mold....who knows?

 

The initial statement was worded a little poorly, but your opinion is as valid as anyone else's. I think he's just being stubborn and obstinate  

 

i dont know Lockdown as wildrider is almost like Blurr as Dragstrip. just as Blurr's Cheetor remold would have been far to similar to dragstrip Lockdown as Wildrider would be far to familiar to his normal color scheme, except with some red and a (maybe) a new head
