So after i made my WFC Ravager Minion, some suggested that i should do Action Master accessories, or updated versions of them that fit the newer figures. So, being Treadshot A1, i came up with this:







Which turns into...









...a gun!

AM Tread Partner goes from Cat <---> Gun forms, and runs on a hybrid 5mm-3mm connector (idea thanks to Ramrider). This means that Breacher can hold it, and so can any other figure with a 5mm hand hole or vertical 3mm clip.

Articulation wise, his legs all swivel from the body, head can tilt down a lot and slightly upwards as well, along with a tail which swivels up and down.

His barrel is my standard barrel, and that means a 6-3 setup. In other words, a main barrel of 6mm, and a lower barrel of 3mm. This is the same as used on my WFC CJ Upgrade and Predacannon sets, so this weapon can use the bayonets included with those sets, or any other 3mm weapons (i've designed some myself as well, hammers, swords, etc.) such as Skystalker's axes. Simply slot the 3mm clip over the lower barrel, and you're ready to roll.

The design looks very nice. If you added wings it could totally double as a "breastar". A question though, are you planing on adding molded details? As it stands it looks a little flat and on the simple side (surface-wise i mean not engineering related).

Agreed, whilst they're awesome little guys, they all look a bit bare. I think if you added a few bits and pieces they'd be even awesomer

Now if you made a similar mold without the gun,wouldnt it fit in wfc soundwaves chest?

 

If you read the original post, this is actually based on the WFC Ravage he designed, but it didn't quite fit in the chest.

 

that turned out great! Though I must admit, if you paint it gray and give it red eyes it'll look like the Gobots command shuttle

I agree. You have some great ideas but a lot of these products look like Munnys to me. I'd love to see you add some more robot bits, like vents, panel lining, etc. You know?

Iv been trying to find stuff to make figures out of . I was wondering what you used to make this figure out of?

They're designed in a 3D program (in Treadshot's case, he uses Google SketchUp), and printed via Shapeways, a company that can produce physical models from virtual ones. These figures are printed using their White Strong Flexible plastic.

 

Yeah, but since then, I've devised a way to fit WFC Ravager Minion in Soundwave, though you need to remove a screw. I'll post it when I get home from school.

Love it. I agree with the general consensus that it needs a bit more detail work, but the fundamental design looks sound to me!
