Megatron is the better of these two, but I'm sure we'll get a better Prime later on.

Prime and Megatron look awesome. Prime might just be my favorite of what we've seen today.

I knew they would have trouble making Prime like the show. His proportions are already off from alt to robot modes in the show.

All of the others, however, are amazing. I might get all of these.

The Prime figures look fantastic so far. Hope to see a Voyager class Optimus soon. I'm likely going to get the entire line.

I hope Megs gets a Voyager so I can finally have a worthy Megatron to lead the Cons in my collection.

Wow, Transformers: Prime is like the Bizarro World version of the movie series.

The characterization, storytelling, and designs are far better than the movies, yet the first Megatron figure is amazing, and the first Prime figure is, well...not so great.

    Weird.

I think they can do better than this, even if it is deluxe class. Though they do give us extra reason to buy the larger version.

Just posting these to make TFP Optimus look bad:

    * yeah I know it's not exactly fair comparison. The mold will hopefully look better when it someone who can take a decent photo gets their hands on it.

Prime looks terrible. Megs looks pretty good. The humans...cool I guess.

Cool figures -- I like some of the engineering moves. Some of the legs look very TFA. Movieverse will have a long, long shadow on all the tf's to come.

    Megatron is amazingly awesome.

Optimus is fine right until the torso. That torso is brutally bad. And You can see a big hunk of kibble hanging off the back there too.

Yep, those are the two I've been most looking forward to all along. Cliffjumper would be nice too.

Do I even need to show my love for this new Megatron? Everyone has pretty much pointed out how amazing it is. As for Prime..... I think I'll wait for a few better photos, but he does look dissappointing so far. Also, a small nitpick, but shouldn't Megatron have a larger Fusion Cannon? I recall it being bigger, but I could be wrong...

well, we have a consensus. Megs is awesome and Prime is meh. Maybe another angle will change things, so so far he's looking like an unworthy addition to my growing deluxe Prime collection.

Both Op and Megs look decent for 'special pack' items. Megatron definitely looks better, if a bit silly with the head poking out in vehicular mode (Yes, I know it is screen-accurate. I'm allowed to not enjoy it regardless) and Optimus seemingly suffering the most for the toy's size.

Hopefully the kid figs are a reasonable size (as in not 2/3 the height of the average Deluxe). It does make for a painful reminder that we never got any kind of official human figures for Animated though. (I even bought the amateurish Impossible Toys figs when they went on clearance).

Prime isn't great, but if it's a 2-pack he's negligible. Megatron is just amazing. Seriously, the bulk of that figure. He just looks tough. Hasbro's outdoing themselves here. Before todays pics, I was just going to buy Arcee, Soundwave, a couple Eradicons and maybe SS as I really like their designs, but after these I want them all. So good.

Megatron looks so friggin accurate in both modes. Optimus looks okay in robot but looks better in vehicle. The humans look so awesome. But if they come in a two pack ala animated optimus and megatron, I hope the dvd (if it comes with one) will include the darkness rising episodes. If not in a entertainment pack, I wonder what the humans will come in.
