So far, the PRIME toys we have seen today beats the hell of of the DOTM toys.

This is just my opinion- feel free to disagree.

    But who here agrees?

We haven't seen enough of either lines for me to judge. While all three Prime toys are exceptional, we haven't seen production samples, so who knows. Likewise, while a lot of DOTM figures are eh, I'm very much looking forward to Megatron, Shockwave, Deluxe Starscream, seeing the Firetruck in robot mode, etc.

Still too early for me to say. So far we've only seen three TFP figures. And out of those I only really like Bumblebee.

So far out of what I've seen of DOTM I'm interested in at least 5 of them. So DOTM outnumbers TFP. But that could change.

I'm actually a bit disappointed with how the TFP figures are turning out, but it's really no contest.

They totally pwn the DOTM toys based on what we've seen so far. The one exception is Starscream. The DOTM version did a pretty good job on that.

Although I admit, movie-fatigue is setting in, so it's possible that the toys just don't seem as exciting because we've seen it all before. So I may be biased. It's a lot more exciting to see the first figures from a brand new line than to see blurry, mistransformed pics of characters that've already been done multiple times before.

From what we've seen so far, it's not even a contest. They're even better than Animated.

Then I'll elaborate a bit. I find Arcee to be a lot nicer bike than Prowl, and the same for Bumblebee with his Animated deluxe.

Starscream I'm on the fence on, but I don't have many Animated deluxe jets to do an apples-to-apples.

Meh I donno...Arcee seems to be kind of a chunky bike compared to TFA Prowl.

Bumblebee comes more down to which character design do you like more.

Right now I'm more interested in the TF: PRIME toys more than I am in DOTM, since I like the three PRIME toys we've seen so far, and of all the DOTM figures we've seen the only one I intend to get at this point is Shockwave. The upshot of that is that I'll be able to save money for TF: PRIME.

Agreed about Prowl. They came up with a very efficient transformation on that figure. Gonna be hard to top that.

Bumblebee, I like the TFP characterisation but prefer the TFA design and love the toy. But I also like the look of this new toy.

Starscream, I think TFA wins on that one.

At this juncture, I say Prime, and I doubt thats gona change. I'm kind of jaded with the movie designs (in terms of toys, that is. They still look awesome on screen), and the majority of the DotM toys have failed to get me excited. They just seem to be a serious downgrade from the excellent RotF lines.

Seeing those Prime toys however, made me grin from ear to ear.

Haven't seen enough of either line to say one is "better than the other" just yet, but honestly, I'm ten times more excited for the Prime line than I am the DotM line. I'll more than likely become a completest for the Prime line (for Hasbro's stuff anyways), and will most likely stop buying movie toys on October 1st (for the most part anyways, might continue buying Cyberverse figures).

im pretty sick of movie toys and have been waiting for prime stuff! they kick the crap outta those DOTy toys. yeah there are gonna be a few movie three guys im gonna get but im gonna wait till hasbro releases good versions down the road. but i will be getting as many prime bots as i can get my grubby paws on! that bee rocks both modes! and Arcee's weapons are removable. screamy's good to. maybe a little to much kibble but a nice bot mode no? very accurate yes? and realize that some third party guy will figure out how to do some bitchin accessories. what do you have? pure muthatruckin win!

I think Prime toys for me. I am honestly tired of the Movie tie in toys. ROTF's toys were so great that the new toys seem to be a big step backwards instead of being the be all end all movie line I was thinking it might be.

So far DotM > Prime no contest imo

I'm really not feeling the prime figures at all, DotM's line has actually got me quite excited, which is odd considering I'm not even a fan of the movie aesthetic.

Loved animated to death, but primes toys don't match that quality from what we've seen of these new figures and to tell you the truth I don't know if I have any inclination towards getting into another heavily stylized line.
