Me likeum, probably the only DotM I have liked so far. What I particularly like is that the giant-ass gun is an integral part of his design rather than a huge extra mech-tech piece that looks way out of place.

 

So shockwave take megatron's rotf alt form? I can see that! Maybe he actually does in the movie and thats why megatron is in hiding!

 

At first I was hoping for something bad-ass... & then I remembered that this is gonna be a Michael Bay movie... *sigh*

Let's hope they get Hot Rod right... *wishful thinking*

 

I really like his robot mode. It's a little squat but I can live with it. However, it looks like he has no elbow! BAD BAD BAD

 

From the look at bot mode, Shockwave's in great shape these days.

He must work out.

Quite impressed, this is definitely the best toy out of the line by a long shot.

Have to say I've been pretty underwhelmed with the DOTM figures we've seen so far.

Can't say Shockwave has changed my mind. Its a shame considering what great figures we got from ROTF and the subsequent lines.

 

Man, that purple is perfect. Can't wait for this guy.  

 

That looks like a better cybertron tank mode than megatron ever did.

Isn't it supposed to be Shockwave's left arm that is a cannon or did I dream that.

I quite like it though - obviously a much better engineered toy than any Movie Megatron has been.

 

Excellent toy! My only concern is that the wrists don't appear to rotate so the elbows will look rather odd when moved - unless there's another concealed elbow joint perpendicular to the obvious one like Darkmount.

Loving the design though - undeniably Shockwave, and also big and bulky, he looks like he'll be as much an action figure as he will be a Transformer. Tank mode is cool, the best of all the movie series "Cybertronian" vehicles seen so far.

Say what you will for simplification, but it looks like this toy can really be played with.

 

Seems a little too stocky in robot mode for my tastes, but I love that headsculpt & the light piping in his eye.

 

This looks gorgeous! Can't wait to find out more about him! : )
