Grifball is fun but there are two huge problems with it.

1.) The cR you get is pathetic. You're lucky if you break 700.

2.) The melee attack when you're Grif is way too over-powered. Instead of either negating each-other when you attack hammer-to-melee or sword-to-melee the melee just plows right through like a freight train. I just won a game in less then 5 minutes by just storming through the middle punching through attacks. Not fair for either team.

 

I finally started playing reach online a little, but I need to play with people that actually play together and such. Where/when is my twin twist, boardwise, and mr. buzzard action going on these days?

 

Saturdays from 3:00pm EST to various times.

Well, I managed to pull off all four of yesterday's challenges in a little over two hours thanks to Grifball. One hour for the 100 kills, 3 multikills in a match, and 15 close-combat kills in a match.... and another hour for a little more than half of the 30 multikills. Not sure which is more uneven, the opposition or my skill...

Yeah... most of my Cr was pathetic except for when I got my challenges. I think I managed less than 100 in one match that didn't have a Slot Machine for some reason.

And Grif's melee does seem to be way-overpowered. I've got a saved film I need to check, where it looked like I Mario'd my way through two opponents before the third got me near the goal. Unless that was nearby teammates hammering them...


As for my online availability for TFW game nights, thanks to my overnight work shift, I work Thursday night through Sunday night, so I get morning-afternoon and Monday through Wednesday night to get online. Sucks for weekend get-togethers, but I needed the job, and when the seasonal position became a permanent offer, I took it.
