What tweaks? I haven't checked... The figure transforms fine, it's just that all the joints are loose (and can't be tightened because they used pins and rivets instead of screws) or don't have enough friction to them (the arms aren't that bad though). He's tricky to balance and the backpack is just frustrating to position. Just a bad design... The guns hidden behind the chrome tanks just flops around, no point in putting them on the arms... I felt like I bought a KO that looks like Prime.

I think the green one looks great, but if it's so iffy I'll wait to see someone selling theirs second-hand. Shouldn't be too long, given how things usually work.

It's too bad because from a distance, it does look cool and the size is impressive in vehicle mode... it's just not too fun to play with.

The worst part for me is that damn wheel assembly for the cab. It's finicky, it's wobbly, it's fragile and it just isn't an intuitive design. The fact that the whole thing falls off with the slightest touch really sucks the fun out of transforming it. I guess I'd rather have it fall off than break, but still...

This! Could you take a picture of how that assembly is supposed to be positionned in robot mode?

Cool! The figure is less frustrating now, the backpack seems secure. The legs are still a problem when posing though...

Well based on the problems we've heard we've cancelled our preorder. Neither of us wants to risk the shitiness of this thing until we see reviews first. Such a shame I had such high hopes

Yeah, this is a somewhat touchy item. I actually kind of like it even though I have more than a few nitpicks with it. However, I'd be cautious to recommend it. I think if someone really, really likes the design and doesn't plan on handling the thing very often they probably wont be disappointed. Not that it wont hold up to handling, just that it doesn't really 'feel' good in the hands and it can be really frustrating to transform. I'm really curious to hear more hands-on opinions about it.

Word of caution for anyone who has one or will be getting one: The shoulders are so close to the torso that rotating them puts strain on the plastic tabs/slots that hold the shoulder pieces together. There's one point during rotation where the shoulder can't smoothly clear the torso and meets a little resistance. It doesn't feel like much when you are turning it, but if you look closely you can see the two halves of the shoulder trying to pull away from each other. The slots on mine already have stress marks around them, and the plastic is only about a 1mm thick there so it wouldn't take much for the plastic to crumble entirely.

This thing has a lot of great design elements, but it really could have used a little more time in the oven and a few more tweaks to get it just right.

I don't have that problem at all on mine. Did you pull the shoulders/cabin parts up completety before flipping them down while transforming?

I had some other problems though: the white mount of the backpack was assembled the wrong way so it was impossible to transform it correctly, it took me a few minutes before realizing this. It's an easy fix, just had to remove 4 screws to replace the thing correctly but still was a QC error. I also had a problem with the balljointed neck which is holded by a pin: while changing his head, the ball part came with it instead of staying attached to the pin. I replaced the pin by a slightly larger screw and everything is holding well now.

I do like the figure and I think the problems on mine were easy fixes and are now all fixed but I do understand that's the kind of stuff that could annoy people easily: we do not buy figures to have to fix them right out of the box.

I also have to say that the instructions are really lame.

But in the end, I'm still glad I bought it, I love the design, I love the big trailer and I won't hesitate to buy any more Xovergen products in the future if they are as cool as this one.

So, is ANYONE going to drop a some pictures in a feedback thread for this thing? I'm riding on more info and pictures to decide whether I want to drop some dough now that we have some impressions.

If nobody does it before, I'll take some pictures in order to make a review after work. I'm not so sure about making a video though since English is obviously not my primary language. :p

Really? Your English seems better than most of the native speakers that I see posting on the 'net.
