Yeah, I had the option to go X as well but I'd rather not have to hold a phone the size of a flat screen TV next to my head.

Yes I'm exaggerating but it is definitely one of the main reasons why I chose the Incredible over the X. I didn't want an overly sized phone even though it means a bigger screen. But I don't watch movies on my phone anyways. I use my phone as a phone first and foremost and everything else comes second.

A lot of folks love Android, but I'm not as crazy about Android after having had one for 8 months. When it works, it's great. When it's slow & glitchy (which is most of the time), it's nearly impossible to use without a reset. I mean a total factory reset. I've eliminated virtually any "fun" app you can think of to help save memory, but it's still slow as shit most of the time. My best friend has the Droid X and he has virtually the same problems. Most days that we work together are spent comparing war stories from our weekly battles with these pieces of shit phones. I have a Samsung. He has a Motorola. Neither of us will buy these company's products again. Maybe the HTC or LG Androids are better.

If I didn't love the mobile access to YouTube, I'd replace it with a straight messaging phone, but instead my only option is to hope that a different Android phone will work better than the one I have now (HTC or LG), or I can get a Blackberry. (ugh.) They're ugly as hell, but outside of the Storm, their shit actually works.

I'm still loving my Incredible and I'm loving all the features it has from just plain silly to very helpful. I have a lightsaber app to satisfy my inner sith. an app to let me scan barcodes on items at stores and find if it's cheaper anywhere else close by or online as well as find coupons using my phone, which I'm told that these coupons will actually work at the register. I have apps that not only let me find restaurants it also lets me rate them and give them reviews, apps that let me use msn messenger on the go, download and make my own ringtones, this phone can do it all.

If Verizon indeed gets the iPhone (which seems extremely possible at this point), I'll be considering moving from my Sprint Hero to a Verizon iPhone in the near future.

Funny, I am in the same boat. I love my Incredible. My wife loves her X. I will say this much. I ran tests on both and the Incredible is faster. Quicker response and faster on the internet. The bigger screen is nice but the phone just doesn't compare to the Incredible. I would go with the Incredible seeing as you need a phone now. Otherwise I would wait until the end of this year for the 4g phones with sim cards to come out. Basically making all these phones obsolete.

Love my Droid Incredible. I bought the larger aftermarket battery that is the same size as the OEM, but with better life. Now I have no problems getting through an entire day on a single charge.

I love my phone, but there are some things I prefer on my girlfriend's iPhone. If you want to tweak your phone get a Droid (again, I'm rea..y loving my Incredible), but if you want ease of use, go for the new iPhone.

I am due for an Upgrade Feb/March. Don't know if I'll go with the iPhone4 though. Just 4 months later will see the launch of the iPhone 5. Plus, I'm holding out hope that the Playstation Phone will be compatible with Verizon.

Sure, hold out for the next iPhone but I just feel the leap from the current iPhone 4 to the new one will be similar to the change from the 3G to the 3GS and not the jump up in spec from the 3Gs to the 4.

Yeah, the jump between 3GS and 4 was very noticeable, and the Retina screen still impresses, even friends of mine who have picked up the new Windows phone and Androids.
