Hey all I thought about and realized this guy needed more paint apts and I wanted to try a head that looked more Autobot and less drone. I also wanted to give him a better BIO. Name= Channel Link Allegiance = Autobot Function = Communications Commander. Subgroup = Informants. Alt Mode = Sat-Tank. Heavily Armored but only for self defense Before the Cybetronian Wars came to earth there were many Autobots and Decepticons lost to the battlefields of space. When Megatron took command of his army he did everything in his power to hide the truth, he shared the protoform template of an Autobot. Alpha Trion Assigned Channel Link to serve as the Autobots Communications Commander. Channel Link lead and trained other bots responsible for carrying the precious cargo of information, among them were Arcee and Blaster and his prime pupil Soundwave. Channel Link usually worked behind the scenes using his dish and specially modified solar array to pick up on Decepticon transmissions. He would use this information to aid Zeta Prime's forces. He never suspected Soundwave was using their team to keep Megatron one step ahead of the Autobots. When Megatron destroyed Iacon, his sweeps found Channel Link inside the Great Archives. As they approached Channel Link stood between them and Soundwave. "Run Soundwave get to safety!" That was the last thing he said before he took a blast to the back of his head. The Decepticons brought him to their leader. Zeta Prime and Alpha Trion felt a deep sadness when they received the dismantled frame of Channel Link's dish.The rest of his body was never found. What is known, is that just before the Autobots boarded the Ark, Alpha Trion Received an unknown signal that contained blueprints to the Nemesis. Strenghts= Channel Link can receive and transmit virtually any type of broadcast signal and directly beam the information into the mind of any Prime holding the Matrix. Channel link is very adept at hand to hand combat. Weaknesses = Channel Link does not use weaponry. He does not understand the war and could never bring himself to kill any other bot. Channel Link is also very paranoid and records a copy of every transmission for his personal use in case he needs to ever prove himself innocent. Channel Link Shares a direct Protoform Template with Megatron and this made him a prime target for a slow and surely painful death.
Yeah, I like this one better. I really like those paint apps. Green and blue definitely go well together.
I do like this this head, and think it fits him better - though I didn't think for a second that the Leadfoot head made him look like a drone. I still think it'd be nice to have a more contrasting colour for the optics, but obviously with this head they're a lot more recognisable, so it's not really an issue. The paint apps are brilliantly done, and I love the bio.
Im glad yall like it. Really fits well with Jazz. I know I didn't make huge changes to the bio but I wanted his demise to have more value to it.
