Btw anybody noticed that the song when Fowler was dogfighting Ratbat was insanely epic?

 

Kinda like the Dinosaur transformers in Hearts of Steel (comic book), Prime said they fought on Earth a long time ago, could have been TF's with dinosaur altmodes.

 

Anyone else notice that the little re-animated spidery creature jumping at Ratchet early in the episode used recycled sound-effects of the Warrior Bugs from the old Starship Troopers animated series?

Ok it is a bit of an improvement. I'm still not a gushing fan. For me the series so far is like this:

Pros:
-Awesome Voice work (except mute BB)
-Bots are cool

Cons:
-Generic kids. Jack doesn't stand out in any way, Miko is generic in the crazy eager go getter, and raph is resident genius beyond his years.
-Annother annoying kid who is waaaaay to smart for his age. Seriously how many 12 year olds are there on the planet with the intelligence of a masters degree in engineering, math, and computers, yet still are in middle school? And how do they keep winding up in shows like this.
-Miko is too dumb to live. Tagging along the first time I can see. But after nearly getting blasted or crushed a few times what does she do? Continues to put her dumb ass in harm's way.
-Drones. I prefer each bot has a spark and individuality like G1, BW, and Animated. Sick of wave after wave of "drones" just so we can go smashy smashy all over them.
-flat backgrounds


I will still watch it because the bots are written well and voices rock. But animation and story wise I see nothing spectacular about the series. I put this series well below BW, Animated and G1, but above BM, Armada, and Energon. Kind of in the middle with Cybertron and CR/RID.

 

They breed. In horrible, horrible ways.

 

Holy Mother! I've shitted in my pants when Megs was saying "Behold the power of Dark Energon!" Frank is Megs and better than his G1 voice I have to admit - really! I dig into orginal english G1 version and like him there, but this.... this was Megs - really frightening, business meaning and no kidding. I go shivers! shivers! I really fear him!
