    Hello, thanks for dropping by!

For a long time I have been wanting to make an Optimus Prime figure in the 3.75 scale (scout class). A few of my reasons are to have an optimus in scale with my legends figs, and it's cool to have a small non-transforming poseable figure in a "revoltech" kind of style. So, i looked for figures which i think may have potential, and i found Hyper Velocity Armor Iron man. A few Styrenes, Epoxies, SuperGlues, paints and a lot of Mess later, he's done! And i'm very pleased with the result!

    Here's the recipe:
Base body - Hyper velocity armor Ironman 3.75
    used styrene/sculpted in the parts
wheels, gas tanks, smokestacks etc. - RPM optimus prime
Gun - movie war machine 3.75 gatling gun/missile launcher

Oh and the flames were painstakingly hand painted using a twistie tie wire as a brush!

Hope you guys like it! Thanks!

EDIT: more pics in post no.2 and post no. 29 --> http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radic...-inch-optimus-prime-custom-3.html#post5550426

That's an astonishing bit of styrene work - I never would have guessed it was an Iron Man fig under there.
Just as a thought (more to anyone else who might be considering this than anything), I can't help wondering if Movie Rollbar/Wideload might make a good base for a Scout class Prime...

You can see a lot of work went in to this and it paid off, this looks great. it is truly an Actionmaster! This is what robot replicas should have been.great poses, would look even better on a dark background.

great work man! my only 2c to offer would be loose the parts above his chest (window, wind shields? dont know what they are) it looked cleaner without them and get some bigger hands on this guy! :)  everything else kicks ass!
