I think you should have just left out your audio, Vangelus. It could have been like a "Choose your own podcast adventure!" That way we could pretend to be Vangelus! :)

This supplemental should be what is recommended to new comers as a starting point.

I don't always listen to every detail in these but with this episode my mind just kept going WTF. Totally incongruous sides of a conversation that still add up every few minutes.

    Thanks for finishing it.

    Huge kudos, Vangelus.

You made the overall podcast sound pretty damn natural even though you were recording along side a pre-recorded discussion.

....Though it was pretty funny how your spoiler segue into the leaked toy discussion completely failed.

So regarding the whole shooting down pics and reviews thing. It seems to me that yeah, they (be the Hasbro or whoever) have to flex their muscles or take action or whatever.

But I'd disagree with the assessment that the majority of stolen chinese toy guys do so with the intent of getting props or ad sense or whatnot. Naturally, there are a few guys who have the means to acquire these items early on and make YouTube vids of 'em.

But I would think that the thieves who steal these toys to sell stole enough (maybe just a case worth? maybe several?) and sold enough that YouTube reviewers are in the minority.

There's a chain of import stores here that I've seen sell loads of TFs loose and earlier than any other source. And they've got entire boxes loaded with 'em. AND they sell for below retail price. In fact, I've actually had occasion to own certain toys before even Peaugh put vids of them up.

So my guess is, yeah, a few of these toys are put up on ebay or whatever and sold for a premium to guys with lots of disposable income who like to make YouTube videos. But the rest are probably shipped to these stores at low (pre-mark-up) prices. Since the thieves have little cost besides transport, they can afford to do so.

Nicely done, Vangelus! There were moments where it almost sounded natural, but I'm glad you didn't hide the fact that you were trying to remember what was said, and even getting lost during the recording. Very entertaining.

Loved the acoustic spoiler section and attempts to fill the gap that failed :lol

Good attempt though Vangelus, with any luck you won't have to do that again, Just hope the next proper podcast goes a lot smoother.
