Oh, get off your high horse. Not everybody wants to drive an hour to get a toy. It's supposed to be a hobby, not a mission. Doesn't make anyone lazy. Maybe they work, or have family to spend time with, or other responsibilities. When I was younger, and it was just the wife and myself, a Saturday road trip to go toy-hunting was fun. Now, I just don't have the time, nor do I want to pay for the gas.
People in the UK have it worse than us, by and large, when it comes to Hasbro. We get that. And I'm sorry about that, but in no way does that give you the right to jump on someone in the US should they decide to complain about something. Especially if they have a legitimate grievance.
Now, the whole '...now it will never go on clearance!' crowd? IMO, that's a different story. If you want it, buy it at full price. If you don't want it, pass.

I've just thought about something very interesting.

Prime has a roleplay sword and a battlemask.
Bumblebee has a roleplay gun and a battlemask.
Now Shockwave is apparently getting a roleplay sword, and there is a listing for a battlemask.

Shockwave's severed head will be placed upon your shelf. His giant glowing eye staring at you endlessly. His gaze burning into your soul.

if I can refer you to the next post...

This is exactly what i meant. I don't consider an hour to get somewhere for something i want any more effort than going to work. maybe the example of 4 hours i used was extreme, but I stand by the point of if you really want something, you'll make the effort to get it.

Also, I don't recall complaining about uk distribution, or using that as any excuse to make my point. Nor was I 'jumping on anyone in the US', if i was to, it would be to criticise the 'it will never go on clearance crowd' that i mentioned later, and you seem to be agreeing with me on.

This sucks!!! I could not find a Masterpiece Grimlock in the store and had to pay $80.00 plus shipping on Ebay. Looks like I will never see this one either. I guess this is a good thing since I need to save up for the Botcon trip.

I never saw mp grimlock in my local tru's, sad to say my area is a haven for scalpers! I have to compete with jackass's who line up at the door every stocking day and when you have to work an 8-5 not much you can do but pay inflated prices for a fig you really want.

Most likely that'll be the case. Though it'd be cool if they also included a couple of astronauts.

At this point I'm most curious about the Megaverse Evolution 4 Pack. They could go in several different directions with this set.

I seem to remember MP Grimlock being available for order off the TRU website...so no one has to drive anywhere...right? So what's the problem?

It was, then it wasn't, then it was, but unavailable. Then it was a different price. People who actually got an order in had no idea if their order was actually accepted. I didn't know that I got one until it showed up at my door one day!

So, just 'cause it's on their website, doesn't mean it's a sure thing.

Ah, I never tried to order from the site so I had no idea it was so flaky.
