    isn't this still the Hasbro version? He has a green head and green plane mode; I thought the Takara version had, among other differences, a black plane mode and a purple head. Am I missing something?

    That looks like Mr. Hasbro's version in that Gallery ?

    What gives with the Transformers United thread title ?

    I'd not noticed his purple parts were shiny in the past though... so if there was a version that had shiny parts and another that lacked them I can see how that might cause some confusion.

    I hope that Takara-Tomy have not gone and cancelled the Black version as I preferred that one.

    So some clarification would be nice. (Has anyone had the black version in hand yet ?)

    Then seeing it's actually Hasbro's pics I got all :( 

    The pics are nice though, I can't wait to decide wich deco I'll get, cause I do want one :)

    I love the mold.....he's and absolute beast. And his plane mode is awesome.....Love the giant wingspan and the pseudo-maw at the cockpit. Just great.

    Every other shot ever shown of this toy made him a definite pass. The one of the Monocular Musclebot Menace about to toss the trash bot looks pretty damn cool.

    Unfortunately for anyone who might be on the receiving end of my money, that's still not enough for me to actually hand over money for him, though.
