    I really like that metallic blue on Soundwave. With the new "energon" paint apps he looks great.

    So glad I waited and pre-ordered United Straxus. Bumblebee would make a great Goldbug with a different head.

    The differences between these and the Generations figures are enough to warrant a purchase. But there are some really expensive pre-orders that are pushing the budget for these back a month or two.

    Can someone clear something up for me - are Soundwave's wheels partly coloured in the videogame or not ?

    do they have black tires & grey hubs or grey wheels with purple accents - as I have it in my mind that they should not be just plain grey regardless. ?

    Not really digging any of them, I don't find that the shiny paint work that well. Classics Bee look like he was given the leftover paint from Predaking, it's quite awefull. The WFC looks ok in alt mode, but robot, not that much an improvement to me, if I had the Hasbro one I wouldn't feel the need to get those anyway. Straxus isn't worth replacing either, looks ok, but so is the Hasbro one, no clear winner there.

    Earth mode Bumblebee in those shiny colors is a nice "Classics" G2 'Bee. Just sayin'.

    So anyone have any ideas why Takara is calling him Straxus and yet Hasbro decided to name him after his fortress..? Names aside these United figures are leaps and bounds ahead of their US counterparts in terms of paint applications. That WFC Soundwave was beautiful.

    On the next Q&A can someone ask Hasbro whats up with the US colors vs United colors? I would gladly pay a little extra for the paint apps. I hate paying $12.99 for the equivalent of S.D. when I see Japan getting 3D HD IMAX with Dolby SS all with a recliner and beer for the same price.
