Yep, I think he just sold out on ebay! I hope more will be available soon!

Almost forgot, they are available for preorder at actiontoyhouse.com for $149.99 canadian, which is cheaper in the long run.

this thing blows the other two trailers away. marksprojects one is okay, but looks sloppy when opened up. the other one looks great, but doesnt open.

This one looks absolutely amazing closed, and when it opens up, HOLY SHIT. just how it should be, perfect upscaled replica of the original. the way it SHOULD be. nothing added on that doesnt belong, it is just perfect.

I'll do whatever I have to in order to own one.

I think marksprojects looks better but this is very good for the price they are selling for.

Okay, here is a review of the $171.99 (shipped to me, in AZ) trailer everyone is drooling over.

I bought this back in late December, and it was delivered from China today on the 11th. The box was a bit beat up, and only wrapped in a paper covering with labels indicating it's country of origin. I thought I knew what it was, another item I was expecting, and did a Balki Dance of Joy once I unwrapped it.

Once the trailer is out of the box, it is unbelievable even without any decals applied. The quality of it feels top notch and not cheap or low-grade as some knock-off Transformers do (like some of the lot from Big Lots!). Like the old Generation One Optimus Prime trailer, roller can be launched out and thanks to the size even a few Alternators can as well. When closed, you can fit one of the shorter wheelbase and narrower Alternators (or Binaltech) in there.

The gadgets and features from the Generation One days remain intact, down to the smallest details. His launchers still launch, his radar dish flips up and has a rotation dial and his repair arm is there as well. In a somewhat surprising move the small cockpit opens. I haven't tried it yet, but it almost appears that the BTA girls would fit in the cockpit of the repair head. If they do, it would be icing on the cake.

The trailer snaps and fits together nicely, but can be a bit tricky to seal up. You have to align the tabs properly, but it seals and stays sealed nicely. I swear, whoever made this used the G1 trailer as a template and just re-proportioned the trailer for the new 20th Anniversary (Master Piece) Optimus Prime. I don't know if it is standard, but mine also came with extended smokestacks for Prime. I also received some extra tires for the trailer. Too bad the trailer doesn't have a space for storing them.

When connected to Optimus Prime, naturally so it increases Prime's overall size exponentially making him almost three times his original length. He looks more like his cartoon version and the trailer does nothing but to complete him. I don't know why Hasbro hasn't released an "official" trailer or hire the company that made this on. I can't believe just how good this is and it was well worth the $172 I spent for it, shipped.

All I have to say is if you can afford it, get it. Highly recommended.

So is this an advertorial. for a knockoff trailer, or is this a licensed product. Using the transformer font on the box, and Autobot logo on the side of the trailer would suggest licensed.... right?

It's just tfw2005 has never really endorsed knockoffs before, but the posts aren't clear whether it is one.

I thought the title and second sentence cleared that up pretty well. With the use of the word "Custom".

    EDIT:
The reason we are showcasing this product is because of the sheer quality of the product. Unlike many fan attempts to create products, this trailer displayed a level of care, quality and sheer professionalism that we have never seen from an unlicensed item. Add to that the fact that people are recieving them in a very well done box, at a pretty decent price, and we just couldn't resist showing it off.

I'm going to have to apologize too--I totally thought this was a scam. I should have posted this when he put up the pictures of the mold. Looks real good...I've got the Korean version, but I may have to spring for this. And if he makes an Ultra Magnus version, even if it doesn't double as armor, I'd snatch that up.

Those stickers killed it for me. It just doesn't ring "Masterpiece" to me. If they were updated to look real, then this might appeal to me.
