They really need to have a better video player on their site, the thing is absolutely terrible, whenever I pause the video in any browser, is refuses to play again, and I have to refresh the page. It takes forever to buffer, and I have a pretty fast internet connection. It's almost not worth dealing with, but Prime is just too awesome not to...

Is it worse than Youtube's latest "cut everything up into 600KB chunks, to make it impossible to fast-forward or change resolution without 30-sec pauses, and screwing up the audio sync no matter what" change they did this week?

 

This show is so much better than Animated could ever be,and they gave Bumblebee the wisdom like in the movies,whereas Animated Bee was just this punk kid robot that didn't care about whatever except being fast and showing his teen angst.No matter who disagrees this show is a hundred times better IMO.

Sorry but I have to disagree. Animated was by far my favorite series thus far and although I think Prime is magnificent Animated is gonna hold that spot for me for a long time especially since hasbro gave it the shaft when it was at its best. However I will say I freaking hated Animated Bee and his ridiculous voice. A silent Bee works just fine for.

Word...that and the whole computer genius 8 year routine again...I f'n hate that and I know it's supposed to make kids feel cool or whatever but give me a break already.

 

I hated animated when it came out. But by season 2 I loved it. Right now Prime seems lame because it feels like it is taking itself too seriously and tries to be so badass. Personalities seem watered down compared to G1 and Beast Wars. Starscream and Soundwave seem offensive thus far to most of the established versions, especially visually, and the humans...well they need work. But then I was complaining about Sari back in the day and she became an integral and good part of that story. It's new so I'm still giving it a chance. I never thought I'd say this... but I miss Bulkhead being mildly stupid. This one seems just like any other big bruiser...BORING! Love Cliffjumper though! Want more of him!

The boy genius gimmick will never die. I'll probably accept him more if they give an explanation down the road to why he's so intelligent. Other then that I'm in the "Miko annoys me" camp.

I know this topic has been discussed before. But now having seen Prime and the confirmation that Prime and WFC exist in the same continuity, that now I'm curious to see High Moon bridge the 2 with their sequel to WFC. I'm not annoyed or excited by the idea, but I am curious on it.

 

I'm with you there. I remember in the first or second episode, the autobots just got back from a recon mission to ascertain Cliffjumper's fate, and she starts whining like a little b****. Dude, their friend just died.

 

After a couple minute of lagging... I just switched to the better tube site....

 

I think Prime has taken some aspects from Animated and the Movies and that's good. However the story has kinda dropped of after the 5th part. We all know Megatron is coming back, no doubt, with some other half-baked plan to take over Earth. Zombie Robots, Really? (Insert "The Walking Dead" joke here.)

 

i posted this in my own thread in the prime section but i'll also restate it here, as far as i can tell hubworld.com will update with new episodes on the thursday after they air. eps 1-2 went up the thursday after black friday and eps 3-5 went up this past thursday. also with the video player, i use ie9 beta as my browser and i have absolutely no problems viewing anything on the site unless im downloading a large file, then it messes with my connection speed and i get a low res picture on the video player.

 

Overall, I liked Prime's potential. The zombie thing was kinda lame, but I can see it as a very watchable TF show. My only problem is that War for Cybertron on PS360 looks better.

 

So is there going to be more after part 5?
