Can someone PLEASE show me where this so called autobot symbol is on the back of the ship?

My point exactly. Everyone is not hardcore like most of us on this site. Wich is why i believe the average movie patron will say Unicron?! As opposed to Alpha Trion? The general audience had a hard enough time figuring out the ROTF storyline,so lets add yet another Prime to the mix? That's too obscure a character for a casual TF fan. As far as the symbols,i dont see any actual Prime symbols,just cybertronian markings that people assume are Prime symbols. I swear Michael Bay is somewhere laughing his ass off that he's got everyone thinking Sentinel,Alpha? Remember guys he said Megs was not in ROTF etc. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

I seriously doubt that this is unicron guys. Every character had had SOME SORT of design element from the original cartoon incarnation bright into the movie designs, and though gold, I'm seeing more and more of alpha trion, and maybe even a bit of vector prime in there as well. IF this is vector prime, it would kinda explain the possible time travel theory we got into a few months back..

 

I wouldn't put it past shockwave to pose as an autobot thought to be dead and transform his body completely. I actually think that would be pretty "logical" haha

 

Very good point about unicron being gold and having a humanoid face, but seriously shockwave, megatron, and unicron. Talk about overload. And Im
forgetting starscream and shockwave. I'm pretty sure no unicron and it's ok with me

He is BOT but not an autobot. He is a Aerialbot named Silverbolt a survivor of the civil war.

Really? Guess everybody here missed that confirmation. Can you post a link or something that confirms his identity? 
I have to say that I would be disappointed if he was, in fact, Silverbolt. I mean, homeboy is gold. Not exactly something that would make sense with a character named Silver. Then again, it is a Bay film, so audience confusion is par for the course...
Like most people, I believe he is a Prime-related character. I see the shoulder pad thingies, but not actual wings. Come to think of it, have we seen wings jutting out of the back of Starscream or Megatron? Why do people assume that Silverbolt will have wings when in robot mode then?

Just wait and see for the movie. Then I'll tell you, "told you so". Not everything has to be a confirmation, sometimes your able to tell who th character is. But just wait and watch. Plus it can't be a related prime character because then that would mess up the storyline of the last movie. Optimus is the last prime so stop thinking its a prime.

Yes, because there are no contradictions between these movies at all. It's not like Bumblebee could talk at the end of the first movie, and was then again mysteriously mute for the sequel, right?

Please, if the writers want to include another Prime in the films, The Fallen believing Optimus to be the last one (which is the only support to this claim) is not going to stop them.

 

It could be a corrupted Autobot who changed sides. Just look at Jetfire and Wheelie, they're Autobots, but have red eyes. And Frenzy has blue eyes and is a Con. But you're right. I think it's an Autobot as well, since he doesn't look evil... at all.

Stop pretending you know everything, it's annoying. There are plenty of arguments as to why it could be someone else, even a Prime, but you haven't given ANY arguments as to why it should be Silverbolt.
