My proof is in Hasbro's actions.

With both GIJoe and Transformers they went to Marvel to create a fiction for the toys.

If Hasbro had fiction writers on staff, they wouldnt have gone to Marvel, they would have tried to do it in house.

It wouyld have been much more cost effective.

 

I think you should both drop it, because it is clear neither of you is going to agree on what actually happened.

(Which FYI I am full aware of, I just don't want to get drawn into this argument)

Marvel/Sunbow is also responsible for the fiction of My Litte Pony.

 

There you go again speculating on what im implying, but maybe they were overstaffed to much overhead and hasbro sent the writers over to marvel and sunbow fact buddy we wern't there so we really can't say that for sure.

Wow inhumanoids i forgot about them, they were pretty cool. Tranformers i do research anything outside i don't. I think at the time hasbro was really focused on tranformers due to my opinion that it surpassed all those others don't understand how my little pony the movie made more money at the boxoffice than transformers g1 the 86 movie. I think it was a conspiracy.

 

I'm not sure if Transformers surpassed GIJoe.

But I wont try to argue it.And Hasbro may have been more focused on TF's the first 2 years.

 

I think it did i think that's why hasbro has put more in than gi-joe i can say at botcon that i went to thet were asked that not in those exact words but same point and they confirmed that transformers is 2nd behind starwars. But tranformers was great gi-joe was close and i liked gi-joe only after transformers went off the air.

 

I can never get enough of the 3rd season. I don't mind the first 2 seasons, but there are some episodes that I don't need to watch more than once.

I love my G1 stuff. That's why I spend a lot of money tracking down more of it. I just got hold of a TM Kup, 3 Sandstorms, 3 Galvatrons, another 2 Stunticons (despite owning a complete set), and I own G1 Bruticus twice (once MISB/MOSC). Next time you try to twist someone's words, make sure you pick on someone whose post you CAN twist.

And the credit for that largely belongs to the movie line.

If I'm right TF's were Hasbro's number 3 toyline back in the 80's.

And as a whole I dont think TF could surpass the Joes.

GIJoe has close to, if not over, a 20 year head start on the TF brand.
