    My guess is Rodimus Prime. As much as I don't want him to be that, he gives me that vibe. Look at the head crest, fin-things on the head, and maybe the antenne represent the "Prime" factor. And he's also orange.

    There was a decapitated robot head behing the astronaut. Kinda looked like BB with a different mouth thing.

    well, the reason I think it COULD be Vector Prime is because of the fact that he has OP like antenna and he's old and golden in color. Just throwing that out there.

    What if the ship belongs to the Decepticons and this guy here:

    Is either Alpha Trion or Sentinel Prime being held as a prisoner on the ship prior to it's crash landing on the moon! :inquisiti 

    ON THE PLUS SIDE:

    This trailer now makes a bit more sense to me why the subtitle is "Dark of the Moon"! :inquisiti 

    The U.S. Government kept this discovery a secret even after the events in the 2007 Movie and ROTF and the yet-to-be-identified Autobot (or Decepticon) is at the very center of the story in DOTM!

    That doesn't get revealed til the first movie which is 2007 or so. This is 1969. Keep it in context.

    I don't think the rest of the dead bots are known characters, I think they just all look alike kinda the same as what they did in ROTF with the decepticon soldiers

    Take a look at the protoforms around the ship. They all look like the Autobot protoforms and their mouths resemble Prime's faceplate.

    I take it that they (in the Ark) crash landed in a battle with the Decepticon's ship, the Nemesis, which crash landed after due to damage, on one of Saturn's moons.
