What was the full name of it, who makes it, and would you recommend it? I like Masterpiece Prime, but it's too big to really fiddle with. Is this a good figure, and is it more in scale with the Classics/Universe figures?
PP01 Faith Leader made by iGear. It's a nice figure but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy one for fiddling with it: some parts that were die cast on the MP are now fully plastic, it does help the balance but the figure is more fragile. Also some spots are more fragile due to them being smaller/shorter/thinner.
Don't waste money on this thing..... Poor quality and in time, u feel the money u spend is wasted....
Thirded. As Peaugh pointed out in his vid review, it feels cheap at first for those who have the MP die cast version, but once you fiddle with it for awhile, the plastic quality is actually pretty sturdy and decent quality. I love mine! It is about ultra class in height and size. Pick up the 2nd release, as it has some engineering fixes that are vast improvements over the first edition. BUY IT!!! Seriously though, its scale is more in line with MP Grimlock and the Seekers (and hopefully MP Roddy). The quality of mine was very good - have now transformed him a few times, and it stands and poses very well. Its a bit too large for the classics/henkei line, but works great next to alternators/binaltechs
Got mine as a gift and it is great. It also looks really good next to the Classics figures IMO...it is big next to the Deluxes but the style really matches the more "G1" looking ones. I have not had any QC problems worth noting. It seems to me that the QC problems that some of the figures do have are overblown. It's NOT an Ultra-class mass release, it's a scaled down MP, so just treat it as such and you'll be fine.
I prefer it over MP Prime. MP Prime is just so big and out of proportion from the rest of my collection that I put him back in the box once I got my Faith Leader. I got the second run of PP01 which is sopose to be better than the first. The only bad part about getting the second run is that you don't get the cartoon accurate head as with the first run but I plan on getting PP01U Ultra Magnus to correct thAt problem

I agree. MP Convoy feels more like a statue. as it's too big & over scaled/sized. to fit in with other TF toys on display shelves. At the very least faith leader is 7 & 3/4 inches tall ultra sized & fits in better with various TF toy lines/figures on display shelves.
Hmmm. Thank you all for your input, but I think I will skip this figure. As with all third party figures, there is some chance of them not being perfect and prone to breakage. I don't want to get burned again, especially after getting a PE-01f with a giant indentation in it's chest. Maybe I will get Knight Morpher Annihilator instead.
Well, all things considered, I already have MP Prime, so I'm not missing much with Faith Leader. KM Annihilator looks damn sexy though.
