A fruitless search today. I went to my local Kmart, the one on Hunt, there's plenty of recent stuff, some of which I've never seen before. They had Voyager Prime, Teradive, Tomahawk, WFC Bumblebee, Megatron, and Darkmount. No Reveal the Shield... Then I went to the walgreens in blueash, but there was nothing. The one deluxe peg had one HFTD lockdown, which I hid in hopes of forcing them to put more of their stock on the pegs (since they had tracks earlier). I'll check back tomorrow to see If my trap sprung or not. Kenwood TRU... don't even bother.
Setting traps - I like the way you think! I also went to TRU in Kenwood - and I agree - don't bother going. K-Mart (5 Mile & Beechmont) had no Reveal The Shield. None of the Walgreens on Beechmont Ave. have Reveal The Shield either. The Walgreens on Montgomery Rd. in Pleasant Ridge didn't either. However, the Walgreens in Alexandria, KY (near NKU) had one Tracks which I bought. Who would have thought it - Walgreens = THE PLACE for your Transformer needs. Now I'm just looking for Jazz and the Dinobots PCC.
Found Skullgrin, WFC Cliffjumper, Dirge and Thunderwing at Target in deerfield. They had 3-4 more skullgrin and 2-3 WFC Cliffs. Got the last thunderwing, 1 Skullgrin, and 1 WFC Cliff. As for HftD They had 2 Tomahawks and 1 Terrerdive this was at 10 this mourning.
I went to Hunt K-Mart last night - I grabbed the one Tomahawk and was told when I asked that the person was sure there were no TFs in back. I should have insisted he let me check, but I'm sure they were burned out by Black Friday as it was. This... actually backfires. See my upcoming post about my marathon Walgreens spree for additional info, but their systems run on auto-reorder, so if one shows that they haven't sold all they recieved on the truck, it doesn't place the re-order. About the only thing you can do (and I'm not advocating or recommending this by saying so) is to purchase all the deluxes at a store and try to exchange for the stuff the system orders in as a result. I was there also yesterday (checking in on my brother's cats), but I only hit the Walgreens closest to the 275 exit. That K-Mart is nice. Seems to be a copy of the Hunt Rd. one, floorplan-wise. Inorite? Congrats on a Tracks though!
Thank you so much! I told my girlfriend I wanted either Jazz or Skully for christmas, so now I can tell her where to shop... at the target closest to my house! I figured re-ordering worked something like this, but I was just figuring that they had already had the box and had been to lazy to put something else out on the peg because "there's already something there". So I wanted to draw them out. Next time I go by, I'll move it back, that is, if they don't find it
Just got back from a successful trip! Didn't go to medina, but fairlawn instead. Walmart and TRU all were 0's. but then i went to target. When i got there, I was suprised to see 2 thunderwings, and 1 each of skullgrin and cliffjumper. I grabbed them, as well as 1 thunderwing they had 1 thunderwing and dirge when i left there
Cleveland area: Kmart in Garfield Hts. had as of about an hour ago: (x2) Voy. Battle Blades Prime, (x1) Face-off Fallen, (x2) Mindset, (x1) Tracks, (x1) Fallback... They had one Jazz left also, but I snatched him & Tracks (still 1 tracks left) Now I'm off to go open them!!
k-mart on indian ripple road has 2 tracks, 5 jazz, 2 mindset, and 4 fallback they also have highbrow and face off fallen. they had 1 ally-viper which is now mine hah! happy hunting!
Found Jazz and Tracks today! One Tracks left at the springboro K-Mart. Those of you that have found Jazz, what do you think of the quality? Knee and shoulder joints on mine are really loose.
For those in the C-Bus area, a few Walmarts will have TF's in 2 or 3 different areas in order to increase sales. Hilliard has over 25 HFTD Voyager BB Prime and Banazitron figures in and close to 40 of wave 3 Terradive and etc. out. Other stores will do the same soon. Still no sign of new Voyagers or Genline yet.
Kmart on Manhattan in Toledo has 1 each of the Reveal the Shield Tracks, Jazz, and Mindset, along with one Highbrow. Be warned, though! This happened last night: I was fuming I ended up going back this morning and buying Fallback with them because he rang up at $7.99 so I got all three at that price. So a happy ending but I'm still irritated.
Mine are ok. My only complaints about Jazz are that the torso doesn't connect with his abdomen, and that they missed a few simple paint apps that would've made him look 10x better (like his front grill & his rims) but those are simple fixes that I'll probably just bust out the gundam markers for. Other than that, he's awesome!
i was worried when i got mine i have been having really bad luck with joints these days but luckily my jazz is fine.
Well fields ertl target was the place to be today for new gen toys. They still had Thunderwing, Cliff, and Skullgrin, even after I bought one of each! They also have 2 Dirges, and about 4 Red Alerts.
The Walgreens in the Columbus area now have the RTS figures in, but each store has received 2 of the 4 and the other 2 I found at another location. Their running for 13.99. Think I'll wait for Walmart or Target to get them in. The Jazz figure does look rather smaller than the previous one. The Walmart at Georgesville Rd has a big set up of Wally exclusives including the new 2 piece one and for some reason a bunch of ROTF Skywarp & Ramjet back in.
I'm glad everyones Jazz has tight joints. I'll have to check the radicon section to see they how they recommend fixing loose joints. I think they use clear nail polish or future? And yes I agree. A few more paint apps are in order. (grill, wheels, tail lights, tail pipes)
