    TUMULTICON - Micromaster 15-Combiner

    Pencils/Inks: Me

Based on this Takara concept art from TF Generations.

Not sure how I'll do the colours as of yet.

Named Tumulticon since it didn't have a name yet. :)  Do have bios ready for this character and all its seperate bots, just keeping them to myself for now. Intend to make it a Decepticon, considering the relative lack of Decepticon Micromasters. Even if the original may have a bit more of an Autobot look to it. Any colour suggestions would therefore be appreciated!

You must have the patience of a Jedi to ink this. I would have gone insane three times over. ;)

Honestly, I think it should be done in the actual vehicle colors. I think it would be cool to see it with a mix of schemes.

Holy Vehicles-a-plenty batman! Those are a lot of jets tanks cars and the like on one mega-bot dude! Colors wise i think the basic coloring is good, but my only complaint is that because the sheer amount of alt-modes in there kind of clutter it up.

Might well be one of the reasons they didn't use the concept.

Colourwise, the problem I'm encountering is that with normal patrols it was very easy to keep the colours matching within a team by having "inverted pairs", ie. switching two colours back and forth for bot and altmode. With 15 bots that's a lot trickier as there'll be more contrast and it's harder to picture them as part of one team.

Hence why I've been switching and rotating to avoid the stereotyping team colours that the original concept did. Those have too little individuality. The question thus becomes how many colours you need to vary for 15 bots to be recognisable as a group, yet distinct enough to be individuals.

    This needs more love!

I'm sort of torn between liking and disliking the proportions..it doesn't really feel right to me, but since it's a TF made out of so many Micromasters, I think it's really appropriate.

    Impressive either way!
