Kup is just.....WOW.....The hunt is NOT on, I will pay WHATEVER for the first time I see it.

 

I'm holding out for a Nemisis Prime repaint of Lazer Optimus.  

 

Though I won't be getting him, kup looks much better than his recent pictures,however his robot mode and alt-modes are too dissimilar to his screen counterpart for me to want him. Scourge on the other hand has one nice robot mode, i'm so not feeling the alt-mode but if he comes with his target master buddy fracas I will be buying him!

Does anyone out there know if fracas is included with scourge (it looks like it does but i cant see any hinges that suggest the gun can transforrm)?

Secondly, are the united figures going to be more screen accurate because I want to get Tracks on e-bay but if the united is more toon accurate will wait till then?

 

Scourge's gun is not a targetmaster but was designed to resemble his G1 targetmaster gun.

As far as the United figures go, we have not seen any actual pics of them yet. So it's still uncertain what changes will be made for those releases. Educated guesses say that there will be some changes though, however if those changes will make them more 'screen accurate' is still uncertain.

Nah, I think Hasbro coming out with a brand new "REVEAL THE SHIELD-- SEE WHICH TOY IS WHICH FACTION!" and then making all the deluxes (so far) in the line Autobots tops that.

Yeah RtS is a weird gimmick, it's also Hasbro's excuse to give us two simultaneous lines of G1 homages. Loving it.

 

It's official with these close ups. G2 Prime is too movieverse to own. At best I may get this for my daughter since she expressed interest and isn't as picky as me.

 

You know, I think I can guess why Optimus' head is all weird.

They were planning to make the Scourge ahead of time, and had different head mold designs for either of them. But on the originals their heads were the same mold, and Hasbro decided that since it was using new heads on every other retool, it wouldn't on G2 Prime. Of course, Scourge's head was chosen because it knows there are quite a few RID fans, and kids wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

At least, that's my guess.  

 

Looking good. I think I'll get them all but Bumblebee. And I've already got Scourge preordered x3, so I can have Scourge with two Sweeps. If I find them at retail for a good price I might get 4 or 5, but at preorder prices 3 is the limit.

 

Anyone think there might be a Sweep vs. Junkion boxset somewhere in the Hasbro pipes? It could follow the Battle in Space set nicely, but I wouldn't want more than one of any given Junkion design. They should have made a Goldbug head for the classics Bumblebee mold (I know that legends version is coming but still). I am warming up a bit towards Scourge, but Wreck-Gar and Kup look awesome.

yeah im waiting on rid scrouge repaint as well but i will be byeing everything that is g1 chars from this line as well because i can lol and then geting new chars with movie 3 then i dunno i might get prime toys maybe...
