Hosted pics are gone now but you can see them here-
Classics Universe Metroplex by Unicron9 on DeviantArt
Autobot City Metroplex by Unicron9 on DeviantArt

The goal here was to turn Cybertron Metroplex into more of a Classics/Universe version. That means that he needed to turn into a city, robot, and mobile battle station.
I used G1 stickers to give him a more G1 feel in normal robot and city modes, then just made up the rest as I went.
I used multiple shades similar to steel and concrete to give him a more realistic city robot look in all forms but still staying somewhat close to the G1 scheme.
This was my first time working with styrene so I tried to keep it simple on that. I removed the feet shovels and turned them into vehicle ramps, and made the building that merges with the 2 other building parts to form his huge gun.

I also modded the dark mini-con with 2 extra guns so he'd have 6- so now he is Sixgun, one of Metroplex's minions from G1.
The other Minicon is painted to look like Slammer, the tank minion. Slammer serves as the twin cannons of Metro's shoulder (like G1 had) and as building antennae or spires, as well as having a vehicle and robot mode.
Both minions can be building parts or mounted guns for any mode.

I just painted up the big saw/staff thing to give the mind's eyeball the feel of a guitar for jammin metrometal.

It definitely has a Classics feel to it. I like this A LOT better than the Cyberton representation of the figure.

The city mode has a definate Castle of Lions feel to it, not sure if it was done on purpose, but I like that aspect of it! Very creative use of a flawed mold. Never cared for the Cyb Metroplex, but what you did makes him desireable

I added more city pics to original post. :)

Thanks. I don't know why they didn't give the figure a city or base alt mode.

That's what it reminds me of! I couldn't place it.

Thank you! I figured if I could just improve on the G1 city look and make the normal bot mode look somewhat similar then I did what I set out to do.

    Hellz yeahz, Thanks!
I wasn't sure how the mismatched color scheme would go over.

Dude, the colors are dead on. Now if it was cool to get a Godzilla figure in there then that would be totally awesome.
