    Wooo...yay...
I've lost interest in the movie, so honestly, I can't get too excited for the toy line.

I mean I use to love the movie figures too, but it's hard to enjoy something when people are constantly shitting on it.

Despite my previous snarky comment, I actually like Demolisher toy and design - especially in the movie - and the Epic Robot Heroes scuplt! It was an inventive TF design, say what you will.

Honestly, if they make really good movie toys, I'll probably buy a few. I just ordered movie 2 prime. Waited a while on that one, so I can wait on DOTM toys....

Movie Arcee toys were yucky though. What a waste of good plastic!

Oh, thank GOODNESS. It's not coming out the same week as Botcon, so hopefully we won't have that RIDICULOUSLY long waiting line Thursday night what with them selling "First Run!" DotM toys along with the usual Botcon exclusives.

I'm a bit surprised at you. I still enjoy movie figures like Bonecrusher and Payload despite all the flak they got.

And I remain disappointed in certain popular classics figures, no matter how much people rave about them.

Sure, there's bound to be a few horrible movie designs that won't translate well to toys, but there's also guaranteed to be a few good ones that'll make it all worthwhile. For all the shitting on movie figures, the praise for Leader Starscream and ROTF Optimus still hasn't died down.

Great, but I'll be skipping the line.

    I wasn't a fan of ROTF toys, so I won't like this.

I'll pick up the Italia, The Firetruck and Shockwave though

Can't say I'm really looking forward to that date if it means another period of nothing but movie toys on the shelves. I like the movie hybrid figures, but there is just something about the toys of the movie characters themselves that just doesn't appeal to me.

Then again it could just be movie toys in general that I don't like since there weren't many movie toys I picked up from the Marvel or GI Joe movie lines either.

If there is a mix of something for everyone that would be pretty cool. Given the likely number of characters from the film I don't think that is going to happen though.

I'm just tired of being angry all the time. Every time I gotta hear some bitch moan and groan over skull faces and spiky junky looking robots just pisses me off, more then it probably should. So better that I just disconnect myself from it all together. I know it's kind of a cutting off my nose to spite my face sort of deal, but at this point it's probably the easier choice.

    Majority rules.

And those are usually the ones I like. Much like Bonecrusher, or Rampage. Or the Twins, whose character designs I honestly liked till it was revealed to be politely incorrect.

You mean the chicken monkey and Homicidal Prime? Yeah, I just can't deal with it anymore. I realize that I was fighting a losing battle of opinion and concede to the hate for the movies through and through.

Hot damn. I'm saving my Xmas money for that day. Did the same for the ROTF toys too.

I'm a little disappointed that we won't be getting a break between the 2 and 3 movie. We had the greatness that was animated between 1 and 2! Despite all the cool new deluxe toys still coming out I tire of the movieverse aesthetic.

Guess we've got a couple of generations toys in the mix for now. (Nearly forgot about PCCs! I own all the unique molds so far and just haven't been that impressed. Very neat concept though.)

I guess I'll start saving my money now. That way I should have enough to get what I want by the time May 16th roles around.

Most of the early toys are likely to either rot for months and go on deep discount or get better repaints later.

I'm going to (try to) be patient next time round.

Well you know, haters gonna hate and all that. It's probably best not to think of it as a battle of opinions.

I like to think I can be pretty persuasive at making a case for the figures I like, but I can't change people's minds for them. About the most you can do is merely represent your own opinion. There's a lot of consensus forming bs. It's best avoided.

I liked the character designs for the twins too. Didn't so much like how they came across as characters, but the designs themselves and the toys were very well done.
