as a theme for example reading materials to help kids work on there reading skills or science stuff especially on robotics. basically its an attractive theme to use to get kids to pay more attention to the stuff and hasbro benefits as it get brand recognition into the kids that buy there figures.

Simply put, it's a necessary function to help meet regulations regarding children's programming and educational content. It allows Hasbro to have their 30 minute toy commercial, and as a side effect, it helps the TF brand. Hasbro would love nothing more than to have school children exposed to TFs in the classroom as "education" to promote sales.

After reading this, I'm not entirely sure that I haven't been drinking. Let me go count the beers in my fridge.

This post is a strong case for why a little education in your entertainment wouldn't hurt.

Smells kinda marketing BS-speak in there...

Far as I can tell, it's some Coman-doooooos in the Class-rooooooom! but I could be wrong.

I doubt we'll get anything as cool as original videos with the Autobots teaching kids how to avoid Inappropriate Peer-to-Teen Choice Behaviors, but it's only for the wee chilibans anyway, so.

Essentually, while the kiddies are watching the show they will see elements during each episode that is normally taught in the classroom being explained and used to solve the current problem in the episode.

    Like, duh.

Well that could certainly end up becoming completely trite. I have faith they won't force it, though: not with so much on the line for this show.
