If Deep Dive ends up being a repaint of Seaspray, what colors will he be? Seaspray is already in Seaspray colors and I can't think of any other hovercraft transformers they could homage. A long as the parts that are gold on Seaspray end up yellow in this guy, he'll be a must by for me. I'll do some parts swapping.

 

As some others have suggested, I wouldn't be surprised if they went with a mostly dark blue deco homaging Go-Bot Dive Dive. Different alt-mode, but still aquatically themed.

Google had nothing to say on the matter, though TFWiki did. Kinda unfortunate I guess but not really offensive... Nowhere near as uproar-worthy as 'spastic', that's for sure.

I'm pretty convinced by now that we're going to see the Dinobots repainted next spring. There's going to be a need for shelf filler up to the movie line. Pretty dang good excuse to get a Dinoking homage up in these shelves.

 

they can't "mix" dinobot drones with other drones though. For me, it'd be weird, unless they plan another "animal PCC drone set". Maybe Seacons or Predacons

 

Two Constructicons and two Dinobots with an Autobot jet and an Autobot tank would make for an interesting team.

They always combine a wave's two drones, I can't see them doing otherwise.

 

I didn't say "mix," I was looking for a straight repaint. Just because they've been mixing it up doesn't mean they are required to continue doing so.
