Inferno is about the same size as ROTF Bludgeon maybe a few cm taller.
I can't say for Grappel but Inferno's arm mounted water cannon is able to pop off of it's small peg. Try looking in the Junkion Exchange for an Inferno, chances are someone has one available. :)

It makes me wish I could get the ROTF Hoist without having to buy that monstrosity of a Mixmaster that comes with it. I've got Inferno with his buddy Red Alert; Now I need to get Grapple and Hoist together.

Definately passing on this one! Don't get me wrong, as a toy it's gorgeous but in terms of paying homage to it's screen counterpart this is such an epic failure. To me, inferno and grapple not having those unique head sculpts is almost like megatron not having his fusion canon on his arm. That particular trait is what made them memorable and stand out, to me anyway!

Also the design of this toy seems to give them big bellies while the design used in the G1 which I prefered made them seem as if they had big chests instead. The truck mould also seemed to work better for their alt modes, to me grapple just looks like a yellow/orange fire truck with a crane whereas his G1 counterpart looked like an actual crane truck and inferno seemed like a fire truck, the truck desgn seemed to work better for both their alt modes than this design does!

    I agree with ^^^

However, that won't deter me from picking him up. It may take literally forever for me to find it. but when I do, he's mine.

FOR THE PEOPLE SAYING THE CRANE IS IN A WEIRD SPOT:

Gaogaigar tells us for a use of such a thing in a place, it is a tonfa, it is a weapon like that, it is a bludgeoning weapon

so yeah, it is in a great spot, only thing i don't like is the arm guards don't swivel up, but i am fine with that.....part of me wishes they kept the original head

So happy I pre-ordered Grapple. He looks awesome.
I missed out on Inferno back in the day, so Grapple's a great consolation prize.

Honestly, the thing that got me the most excited in this thread is the Thunderwing video. I didn't even think about getting him, but he looks ssssooooo good.

Great review. Glad I pre-ordered. And can't wait to display him side by side with Inferno. Oh, and Thunderwing is looking good too!

Nice review. I love this mold and will have no issue buying it again. I'm actually looking forward to doing so. (Been hoping he'll pop up on HTS some day soon).

At the rate Hasbro is going with knocking out pretty every remaining major & semi-major character from the original G1 series, I won't be surprised if we see a proper version of Hoist come down the pipe line relatively soon - likely being a repaint/remold of Trailbreaker as per expected. The ROTF repaint of Hoist was okay, but it has a very overtly movie style to it which doesn't really fit in with the rest of the CHUG figures. Plus it was sold in that ******ed 2-pack - which just wasn't a reasonable purchase as far as many people were concerned.

Well Grapple is a definite purchase but the only dilemma will be Classics or Henkei. In all honesty, It all comes down to which one has the most orangey-coloured paintjob. I'm a simple-minded collector... :lol
