The Skywarp Ko came out like 3 months ago. I bought one from a ebay seller and the quality is pretty good. I think if you search the toy discussion forum someone did a compare and contrast to the real deal. I placed an order for the Millions Pub Mirage and the Henkei Thundercracker. If both are done by the same manufacturer as the Skywarp, then it should be pretty good. I hope they start look towards a shatterglass Rodimus and Gentai Wildrider. I need both but don't want to pay $500 each for them.

Well hell, why not just bootleg entire Botcon sets with the box... who needs Fun Pub or TFCC anyway? Price for these toys are out of control as it is. Did you know it only costs pennies on the dollar you pay for these things to get produced? Hasbro charging 15 bucks for deluxes and 25 for voyagers is highway robbery anyway... and dont give me the whole inflation crap... diecast compared to what we get now. Makes you wanna grow the hell outta this toy collecting phase!

You could throw anything under this and it would be true, from toys, clothes, to cheeseburgers. But your presumption is entirely false. You're not paying for the raw materials that go into into each toy you buy. You're paying for the factory workers' salaries, Hasbro employees salaries, the shipping company, the distributor's mark-up, and a whole ton of other people in between.

Yeah I was being a little naive about the nature of KO's but the fanbase doesnt seem to think anything is wrong with it so, why not... have at it. I guess it shouldnt mean so much.

Greed tends to do that in this modern world of immediate satisfaction. It's all "I want it, and I want it now! Everything else be damned because I can't wait!"

Such has been the state of affairs since the birth of the internet. At this point, I've given up trying to even point it out mostly. It's not going to matter till hasbro finally takes action through the chinese legal system which could take ages if they even bother with the headache.

Cause heaven knows the fans would never unite to boycott something in support of hasbro. Heck, the fan base will never have a united front on anything honestly. We get G1 finally redone in good BW like articulation, people moan it's not beast wars. We get comic characters finally as figures, and people moan it's not something else, or the original alts, we get a new Hasbro made cartoon, and people whine it's not anime (that was majorily loathed! so go fig on that one) and the list can go on and on.

At least I can be happy with the fact hasbro will eventually make it for a third of the price this KO will be sold for. It's just a matter of time. I'm in no rush to complete my collection. Cause once it's complete, I'll have nothing left to buy.

Presumptions, yeah they are dangerous... but still the fact remains that if they can charge 20 per for the mass distribution (not to mention all the funds that you presume they distribute among who you presume they employ), why must they charge an additional 5 bucks per voyager merely 2 months later? No offense, but you come off as a little pompous. But please feel free to educate - me especially. Forums are such a great place to show off such inane self righteousness.

You can forget about Generations Thundercracker or any T-cracker in the classics mold. IT WILL NOT BE RELEASED. Why?

The fanbase was begging for Thundercracker. But we only make up 5-10% of their total sales. And not all of us were going to buy a Gen. Thundercracker because a lot of us have the Henkei version. I have both the henkei and KO henkei Skywarp. There is no gap in quality. Hasbro just lost half or more of those people that were asking for Thundercracker. Why release him now?

The kiddies will buy a blue jet, sure. But even more kids will buy that same jet if we color it silver and red.

Hopefully this master KO seeker maker will get it into his head to release a Thundercracker "variant" with light purple replacing the blue on his body in another 3 months. IF he has a brain. IF he wants to keep making money. The Ghost, Skywarp and TC are doing brisk business, but he's gonna have to come up with other colors if he wants to stay in business.

I have the Skywarp and you can know that it's a K.O. because of:

    - The plastic w/c feels a little brittle
    - The Tailfins are made with rubber-ish plastic
    - The missles are bendy
    - The chrome is yellow-ish and the thrusters are a bit different from the original
    - No chrome in the cockpit
    - Loose joints
    - Eyes are bigger, almost bug-like
    - And the cardback is blurry

Overall, it's worth it for 1,500 pesos

Wow. You seem a friendly sort.

Companies like Hasbro are out to make money. No one forces a fan to buy any of these toys.

I'm not going to wait IF HASBRO decides to re-release a Classic Thundercracker. $30 sounds reasonable to complete my Classics seeker collection.

£26 incl. shipping from KOToys was worth a bite...as soon as TC turns up, I'll give it a bit of scrutiny and let you know what's what. :thumb

OOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo I finaleez can haz Thundercracker?!?!?!?

For all those saying that they'll wait to see if Hasbro releases an official Thundercracker I have some bad news.

Hasbro has previously stated that they will no longer be using the Starscream (classic seeker) mold because of mold deterioration. Think of how many different seekers that have been released, along with all the little variations...

Not saying they didn't, but I don't recall ever seeing that info from Hasbro. Do you have a link?

I have been wanting to get the Henkei Ghost Starsceam for a while but I haven't wanted to spend $90 on a deluxe-sized figure. If I can get one that is nearly identical for $30 I'd be more inclined to get it.

(I don't have a lot of spare cash to spend on 'fun stuff' like this :(  )
