- Fury's Right arm being torn off at the shoulder.
- All of the Hellicarriers being droped on the Triskillion.
- A new guy in Thor's armor.
- Widow blowing Jarvise's brains out the back of his head.
- An army of "Axis of Evil" countries super soldiers laying seige to New York, LA, Washington DC.
- Tony Stark at the Widow's mercy. (we're left hanging with them in bed as widow has a gun to Tony' head.)
- Quicksilver gets fried by Lightning.
- Wanda loses control of her powers.
- And as an insult to injury, The Statue of Liberty is toppled over.

It's going to be a long 30 days til the next issue.

Wonder if widow really IS the traitor?

 

wtf. Widow has got to be about the most obvious choice for traitor on the planet, you'd thing SHEILD would keep a more watchful eye on her activities.
Anyway, does this mean Thor is actually powered by the armour? So far it's been very confusing with him, with everyone saying that they knew about him stealing the armour all along then he does crazy shit like teleporting that bomb to god knows where. Which, if he was powered by the armour, he shouldn't be able to do.

 

Loki... he has fucked shit up.

 

This was an awesome issue although I was thinking that we had seen parts of this before with the Skrull invasion of volume 1. Oh & we get to see on the last page Ultimate Crimson Dynamo & ABOMINATION!  

Applause for Millar & Hitch.  

 

Ultimates continues to be the best book on the market. There should be some very good showdowns coming up. I wonder if we will get to see the Hulk eating any bad guys in the grand finale? My guess is no, but that would be funny to see again.

I'm going to miss Millar and Hitch on this series....

 

I wish it was only 30 days. Too bad it's the only Ultimate book that doesn't come out on time....ever.

 

Awesome episode and one of the coolest things I've read in so long. I really have to wonder about Widow and Pym's involvement. Widow did an incredible job pulling that off, but I was shocked when she blasted poor Jarvis.

 

Is Captain America the guy in the suit at the end or is it somebody different?

 

Somebody different. I'm not sure which country he's from, but given his skin color (and the areas we know are involved in this "Grand Theft America") I'd say he's a Middle Eastern version of Cap.

Hopefully, they make this "Colonel" a really cool reinvention of a rogue from Cap's gallery.

I'm also wondering who some of the other characters on that last page are...we've got Loki, Abomination, Crimson Dynamo...but the rest...?

That's who I thought he might be at first but on the last page it looks like he has a "W" on his chest so I'm not sure who he is yet. The guy who has Thor's gear I'm thinking might be Thunderstrike. Then, as thefrozenred said, we've got Loki, Abomination and Crimson Dynamo. The other 3 I have no clue who they're supposed to be though.

The Russian Thor could be Vanguard from the Soviet Super Soldiers.

 

my guess is that the chick in the bottom right is speed demon... thats the only speedster I can think of.
