Yeah so I kind of thought I'd make some changes to Shockwave because I had some ideas and time on my hands. I hope none of you mind.

First His laser cannon-arm seemed kind of "out-there" when everyone else was forced to use melee weapons. It seemed unfair for his weapons to be thousands of years ahead of everyone else's.The closest thing to a gun in that time would be a bow. A crossbow is more Shockwave-esque than a bow but still kind of iffy. Now arrows probably won't do a lot of damage to giant robots but I suppose if we lit them on fire he could do some property damage to human dwellings(if he found that a "logical" course of action).

Pretty much the only resemblance between Shockwave and a Cyclops would be the one-eye thing. I can't imagine a Cyclops acting like Shockwave or Shockwave being a bumbling mass of mostly unintelligent bestial fury. A compromise had to be made somewhere. Now imagine if the Cyclops part of him starts to persuade Shockwave to be less logical and act on instinct? Obviously Shockwave wouldn't be to happy with the transformation and that gives him some better characterization. But the head given to him doesn't represent that at all. But how does one make a robotic head portray the call to the prehistoric? In Beast Wars Neo some of the bots had hair to better help them resemble their mammalian counterparts and that seemed like a good place to start.

I hope you can atleast use a bit of my ideas but feel free to do what ever you like with it.

I know it's not very constructive, but your Megatron is awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in color!

 

Ligier - the crossbow idea for shockwave is pretty cool.

Maybe I'll go back and draw him with it..

Somewhere along this tread I saw something about Swoop. You can't have Swoop without Grimlock. Perhaps you guys could come up with Grimlock as a large dragon, similiar to Draco, the one from the movie Dragonheart. I've seen some of your art, I think it would be a good fit.

 

Nubian Prime-BillyBadAss is working on the Dinobots as gargoyles. I also would like to work on my own version of the Dinobots one day.

I've let this thread die for to long. I've got a bunch of updates. The comic is also getting closer to being ready to start. The first issue is about half writen and i'll being starting on thee art soon.
