For christ's sake it's a Shuttle, nothing more nothing less. It's not a Transformer.

 

Oh, so you've been working on production and know for a fact it isn't a transformer? I'm sorry but unless that is the case, you can't say that as a certainty like you did. That can be you opinion, but these other people can have their opinions too. They are free to speculate about whatever they want.

Well considering the way in which certain people regarding the production, NASA staff include, have alluded to the shuttle...

I can't believe NASA employees refer to the logo as the "meatball".  

 

I would definitely agree with you if it were just another car or other common vehicle, but it is the frickin' SPACE SHUTTLE!!! I find it hard to believe NASA would just allow Bay to snap some footage of it and put it back in the barn.

I mean: it was pulled out of the VAB, rolled all the way to 39A, and staged to simulate a lauch. There are only 3 launches left for the STS' before the birds are retired.

NASA has a golden opportunity to memorialize the Shuttle on the big screen for the world and I bet they go for it big time and make the Shuttle an Autobot.

I won't argue that it may or may not be a transformer but I really hope it is,as something that awesome deserves to be one.As for speculation about the name,I just hope and pray that its not Silverbolt,to me its idiotic since [1] the name implies silver which the shuttle has no silver anywhere on his shuttle form and [2] the overall design just don't fit with the name of silverbolt.

So if he is a tf in the movie I hope they go with someone like Sky Lynx or Omega Supreme to keep with the g1 mythos.Later all.

 

I hope there are some scenes of the Autobots inside the VAB. That's an impressive building and quite dizzying from the inside. I'd love to see Optimus and pals in there.  

 

Just not the Twins, I can see them breaking it.
