Yup. This isn't being made in a factory. All the parts are hand made, in a limited run. Its also not for every body at the same time, as you can see in the thread. I'm sure if a 3rd party group did this project, it would be cheaper. But reading through this thread, you can see not everyone likes the Universe Blaster figure to begin with. So this project would definitely not be something FansProject or whoever would decide to work on, since the interest level is low. So its good for customizers like me, since I can do a small run for those that do want it.  

 

guys, if anyone is interested in buying the figure (Blaster) I have one MISB. After I bought him, realized he was nothing like Blaster but with this upgrade it looks pretty cool.

Nonetheless, I would rather sell him to someone here who likes the kit. PM if interested, no idea what he is worth so any offer will be considered.

I like the gun and the back clip, but not fond of the heads at all. And, I realize it's a very small run and all, but $45 is way too much for me to consider spending on a set like this.

Sure, you can state your opinion, but you could also use more tact. I think Azim's doing a great job, and unlike Hasbro, he's not a mega corporation out to make millions. He's doing this for the fans.

 

I am kinda of new to this, but I agree that the man has a point. This is all for the fans and collectors.

I just had a random Blaster related thought - I wonder if Actionmaster Blaster's winged backpack combined with the rifle would fit on the hole on Universe Blaster's forearm to make a bow like weapon for him ?

Will the gun fit in the hands of Device Label Blaster?

He is a much better classics Blaster then the Universe one.

Although the set is a bit expensive to get it just for the gun.

Maybe they could make an upgrade set for DL Blaster as well? It would be nice if he got a G1 gun. Even better if that gun could attach (hide) to his alternate mode (or fold so you could hide it inside his cassette compartment).
