I keep hearing about these three spots and you complaining about how Ohio State fell further than Alabama did and your explanation is that the NCAA loves Alabama. Yet you don't understand that Ohio State's only "big" win was against Miami and they turned out to be a pretend top 25 team. Alabama plays tougher teams week in and week out in the SEC. Granted the conference is weaker this year but it's still better than the Big 10. Maybe if Ohio State knocks off Iowa they can get back up there neck and neck with Alabama. But as of right now, Ohio State is on paper a weaker team than Alabama. Come at with more than "post count gods" and I might take your posts a little more ligitimately.

Oregon didn't think much of UCLA. :lol

Come on Mizzou! take down the Sooners. Let's get Boise State up there.

I want OU, Oregon, Bama, and OSU to all have 1 loss, and an undefeated BSU and TCU. The BCS would be chaos :lol  Can you imagine the uproar if either Bama vs OSU at one loss each OR BSU vs TCU as undefeated? I wouldn't even know how what my opinion would be at that point.

From what I have heard is several BCS-conference schools, at 1-loss, could jump BSU and TCU. Is that fair? I understand, probably more now than I have before, BOTH sides of that argument.

It is extremely possible, however, that Oregon vs OU could produce an undefeated NC.

I've already decided it is a crapshoot at best. Who know's. With how everything has been topsy turvy, Mizzou could get up in there with a win over the Sooners.

Three #1's in a row. Watch out next week, Oregon.

Yep, curse of the #1 ranking it seems this year. Mizzou played a hell of a game especially in the red zone and OU made too many mistakes. WTB fg kicker.

I have a feeling next week will be 4 #1 teams going down in a row.

Yup, USC will take down Oregon! Although, Oregon might not be #1 next week. Auburn might have a good chance leapfrogging a few teams to go up #1 if not in the human polls then maybe the BCS ranking.

I hope OU fans didn't really think they were the best team in the Country:lol . As for the BCS standings (like it matters so early) I think it will shake out like this.

    1. Auburn
    2. Oregon
    3. Boise State

The SEC will jump the Pac 10 any day, plus Auburn beat an over ranked LSU also:lol .

Looking into my Crystal ball, which is full of haterade...

Oregon will lose to either USC or Oregon State, Auburn goes down against Bama, Boise jumps to the second spot and plays against Bama in the BCS title game.

This is my guess at the BSC tonight,

    1. Oregon
    2. Auburn
    3. Boise State
    4. TCU
    5. Mizzou
    6. Alabama
    7. Michigan State

I'm predicting a few leapfrogs here. Alabama handed Tennessee thier asses, while Michigan State was a closer game so that's why I think they'll get around them. Auburn beat a really good LSU team, but Oregon looked like a championship team so I think Oregon looks to be number one at least for one more week.

I think you will find that most of us OU fans didn't like that #1 painted on their backs last week at all. Nobody in my house was very excited about it that early. Judging from how they played last night...well yeah.

Yeah, as a Buckeye fan, I hated 'Bama losing. That number one is a big huge target. For all intents and purposes, number two is just as good, but doesn't carry the stigma.

Well, there was one year (I think 2007 or maybe 2008) where several # 2s went down in consecutive weeks or close to consecutive.

I don't mind Auburn jumping Boise, but the fact that they jumped Oregon saddens me. Oregon played as sound a game of football as anyone on Thursday. They are almost falling victim to the same problem Boise has.

Kinda surprised that Auburn jumped to #1, but I guess beating #6 will do that. Oregon has the better chance to go undefeated, though. Auburn still has to go through Alabama and possibly the SEC title game and a loss at either of those late dates would kill them. Interesting how the BCS and AP are grossly misaligned again. Another split title in the making?

It's very possible a SEC team will not be in the NC game. LSU beats Alabama and Alabama beats Auburn and the SEC is most likely done. That would be funny.

Yes, because we are so overrated as a conference that we have NOT won 4 of last 5 BCS titles :lol

Anyway, I like Chris's predictions :lol

Auburn continues to be impressive, although that is still a one-trick pony (although a big ass pony). I'm hoping we found ourselves in that second half against UT, and we desperately need this bye week. I'm more confident about the LSU game than I was a week ago, and I hope Auburn stays undefeated and retains that #1 ranking until 11-26.

This is exactly where having a conference championship game comes into play. If we run the table I think we still get into the NCG, but that is a big IF. I'm just enjoying week to week right now.

Texas - WTF happened? Holy shit, talk about an internal implosion. Guess running the scores up last year and not playing second string much is catching up with a team that is as talented as anyone. Still think Mack Brown is an overrated head coach. Hope they can get it back together next year, as I am a strong believer that college football is much better when the traditional powers are doing well.

Oklahoma - Big Game Bob strikes again. Dammit. I like OU, one of my favorite teams, but Stoops is one of the worst choke artist offenders out there.

Notre Dame - lulz still not relevant.

Oregon - Might be for real. If the pounce USC this weekend like they should, I don't see them losing. That offense and special teams units are scary good. Still fighting that "no defense" perception, however, and justly so.

Michigan State - dammit why couldn't you lose???? :)

SEC East - I don't even know. There aren't enough known forms of statistical calculations to figure this division out. I just think they suck, and I'm pissed as hell we lost to one of these bozos.

LSU - loses at least 1, maybe 2 more games (Bama, Arkansas). Luck can only carry you so far, and it can't hide a horrid offense against good competition.

Auburn - Cam Newton really should win the heisman. Has there ever been another player that is as valuable to there team as Newton? Take him out, and the Barn is sitting at 3-5 or 4-4 best case.

Bama - AJ is going to be legit! GMac is the man, but nice to see us having a pure passer in the wings. Love it.
