The skyfall kit is limited, to 350 sets. But I haven't made all 350 sets. Only about 200 so far. So once I have enough interested, a 3rd batch will be made. :)

A little update on Steeljaw. He'll be out next year. I now have the resources to make him. He'll just be really limited, as I'm sure not that many people want a non-transforming version.

How come it will be non transformable? :(

Btw, I finally got a Skyfall and just now put the upgrade on. Stunning work man. Just solid :)  Can't wait to see what you have in the pipeline after Blaster. Any hints?

He posted some designs in the feedback thread. Hot Rod's guns that combine into a rifle. Universe Roadbuster kit. Universe Darkwing kit. Classics Prime and Megatron weapons. Cliffjumper kit. New heads to make the various CHUG Bumblebees into Hubcap and Bumper. I can't remember what else...

Really wish I didn't hate this mold so much, or I would be all over this. Great work as always Venksta, now bring on Darkwind.

Great. If I knew this was coming out, maybe I would have picked up a Blaster that I saw on discount so many times.

I like the idea of upgrading one of the Bumblebees into Bumper or Hubcap with there being several different colours of the Classics Bumblebee mould that sounds like a great solution to the to many Bumblebees problem.
I tried to order the previous Roadbuster upgrade but the order didn't work out so I feel a lack there for sure.

I have to wonder if an idea is actually to make a sort of "General Universe set" that could contain things like a G1 style Sideswipe Rifle, a G1 style Silverstreak rifle, a sword for (evac repaint) Universe Springer or Autobot Blades or perhaps an adaptor to allow him to hold his blades as a sword. I still wish someone would have a go at making a Cassette Scorpion or Crocodile too. Oh and Re: Blaster's head perhaps the Non-comic head with a transluscent visor would suit my personal tastes a little more on reflection.

Did I dream it or did someone make a handgun for Universe Dragstrip (with a BTS Trailer)?
I think a G1 style rifle for Mirage or Fracture is a nice idea too.

    ---

I quite liked that idea that was used before of making Spychanger/Go-bots guns in 5mm compatible sizes it has the virtue of being a subtle reference to G1/G2 and yet also look like it's not just a straight copy of an earlier gun too. I often have my Classics Bumblebee sporting the short gun that came with the BTS Trailers and it really suits him.

I had an idea the other week looking at Double Targetmasters is it possible to make a figure that looks like a double Targetmaster can fold into a gun but can also sit inside those Transformers that have seats. Be that Human Alliance scale or the Deluxes like Hound - they'd have to be really small though and in gun mode might only look right with a Scout.
I'm actually surprised that there's not a rush for people to make modern Targetmaster companions for Classics Hotrod, For Generations Blurr and for Reveal the Shield Kup & Scourge.

[edited for less paragraphs by Ultrawave's request]

I know someone used to make repro Targetmasters (for G1 Rodimus reissues) but had to stop due to ill health. I always wanted to have a companion for my Clear & Black G1 Hot Rodimus figures but was never able to get them due to that reason.

Pardon me if I come off sounding rude, but all of this is relevant how? We're talking about the Blaster upgrade kit, not every upgrade kit and idea under the sun.

And you don't need to press the enter key so many times.

I'm getting an Ironman feel from this. All he needs is more armor pieces. I like his weapon. Maybe everyone who bought the him on clearance will be able to justify the cost of this.

If there is a thread that is discussing such ideas in general then I'd be happy to do so.
I was not writing about every idea under the sun I was talking about "Classics/Universe Kits"

Using the starting point in that the original kit being discussed is part of a series that are directly related to Universe/Classics items. As for the spacing I don't know why but this board seems to "Doublespace" when I try to start a new line i'm not pressing enter twice.
I don't like long Paragraphs if they have different subjects - that's just my personal preference for writing on boards. to start a new paragraph with each new subject. Incidently I had to use backspace to remove the extra spaces that the board put in by default

I think now Device Label Blaster is out ; he would likely become my default ideal Classics Blaster and Universe Blaster might be best repositioned to being a Cybertron mode Blaster from the past or being Blaster from the Galaxy Force/Cybertron Universe. Perhaps one of the heads illustrated in the intial post links might be better suited to being Blaster if it's not taken to be G1 Blaster, simply because the head is distinctively different to the one used on some other past Blaster toys, like the 1980's one or the Device Label, Action Master or even the Binaltech Asterisk Broadblast toy's head.
If one takes this head as something designed to be distinctive rather than something designed to be a direct homage then it actually makes me like it a lot more ; as does remembering my thoughts on the Device Label one.

I believe IDW Pre-Earth Blaster had a Space Craft mode so you could also potentially see the Universe Blaster as a contempary of the War Within or War For Cybertron toys. Or make up a brand new story for him like he's a TFC Planet-X deserter or something like that.

Well said. I think the soundwave head just fits the mold more dynamicly. The bodies strengths lie a cold versatile techie seeker style Almost like the scientist jets in war for cybertron. The mold probably should'nt have been used for blaster. As its lanky, and comes with a bird minion. It seems the speaker wings and the obvious link between blaster and soundwave as the communications tape deployer rival were what supported that homage redeco.

At least hasbro painted a few more details onto the universe head noggin to emulate blasters eyes and headcrest.

Its interesting for those into customs (want to try it out? universe blaster is dirt cheap if you missing it) and at least a very nice custom of the signature electro scrambler is included and a second piece that makes weapon management work on the back with ports for the bomb/laser weapons. Noticed that in the pics we have the arm shield was removed. Keep that in mind. The figure is going to look much busier dual wielding without doing that mod.
