I don't own it yet, but my brother does. I have played it a few times. Selling my PS3 for an Xbox, mainly for this game.

 

Had quite possibly the best MP game I've ever had in my Halo career.

All took place in Hemorrhage. Big Team Slayer. Our team kept losing the lead to the blues until we just couldn't compete anymore. Suddenly while I'm trying to snipe some foo's, my teammate stalls an enemy wrath, kills the driver and walks away.

I figured "eh, why not..." and jumped into it hoping to do a bit of damage to the other team before they kill me. Game ends. 36 kills total, 26 killing streak, we win the match and I'm the MVP player.

Also absentmindedly got the Like Mike challenge as well as the "30 kills total" challenge. God was it epic....

 

Won a couple more Slayer matches. I'm getting not bad at this game. I find that it pays to skirt along the edges and jump people that are already going at it. Works well on smaller maps, I've literally came round the corner to absolute stacks of guys laying into each other up close. Just punt in every grenade you've got and mop up with the assault rifle.
I also found my new pet hate: the pistol melee where you flip the gun back around. Maybe it's just my imagination but it seems to take longer to get back to firing postion from that than it does from the regular punch animation.

Swear, Invasion is the best thing that happened to Halo. 47 kills, 10 deaths. I feel pretty acomplished.

 

Thought I'd make myself a bit more colourful for Halloween.

Easy challenges are easy. Two games of Gruntpocalypse netted me 6000 cR. Should hit Major by tomorrow.

I played the most ridiculously difficult game of Firefight today, ended two kills short of the 88 in on match challenge, but back to how crazy difficult this was.
To start with the game ran for the whole three sets instead of the usual one that I seem to get. Then it just jump right off the crazy ramp.
I had fucking Elites trying to crawl up my ass, at one point a drop pod hit and spewed maybe five or so of the white armoured bastards then two Phantoms swung in and dropped more gold fuckers with swords and turrets. Along with Jackals and Grunts. These sons of bitches where hardcore too, normally a shotgun or melee up close with take down their shields. No such luck here. The maps was crawling with them, I swear.
Then goddamn Brutes with shields started dropping in. Totally mental.
After everything it showed what skulls where on. All of them. Including Mythic. Wtf.

 

I've seen one or two with hearts. Kinda funny to see.

 

How do you unlock the robotic arm?

 

FINALLY got the Mark V helmet. Now to save cR for the blue visor.
