Fixed. I mean, it wasn't bad, but like what's been said, very reference heavy, with few actual jokes. However these references were funny and made sense, like the Free Willy bit.
No, it just seems that save for the toaster gag, there was seemingly little to no effort put into it. All the things he said were predictable, nothing creative or funny...It just felt like a phone in job.
I get that feeling from some of his reviews sometimes. Like the Carrot top movie review felt very phoned in. But I donno, I wouldn't say this was his best, but it was hardly boring. It made me laugh on a day when I needed one. That was good enough for me. Sometimes I like it better when he doesn't go for the over the top, or dark, joke. Like the toaster gag. To me that was actually the only part of the review that fell falt for me.
More Ernest?....Awesome!!!! TROGDOR!!!!!! this was a hilarious review and for the record...i like this movie (liked it ever since i saw it as a kid) it's silly...yes! but i still enjoy it
Great review. I was just about to rent this flick off of Xbox Live. Thank goodness the Nostalgia Critic stopped me.
Ernest scared stupid was not as bad as he made it. He messed up again. He said this was ernests last big-screen movie but ernest rides again was! He needs to look up this stuff before he does reviews! The strongbad joke was funny and so was the "he is behind you!" joke. The charlie brown joke was dark!
YES! He mentioned Annie Welkes! She scares the hell out of me. I'm not sure I agree with his #1 choice but the argument is reasonable. jD001
Hmmm... apparently someone doesn't want me to watch this review. I was in the middle of it when it cut out. :S Guess I'll search Youtube. jD001
I was loling alot in this one, and I was estatic to see Spoiler the reutrn of Dr. Smith. SPIIIIIDERS!
ok, so after my internet decided to crash I restarted my computer and now I was able to see it. I have to say, from what I saw IT is a bad example of a Stephen King movie. I'd have to watch the whole movie and see for myself but I've seen a few Stephen King films that give him better credit than this. jD001 Spoiler P.S. how did I know that the Nostalgia Critic would eventually play the drinking game in one of his reviews?
