This is starting to look realy cool now!  

 

Usually I'm not against Prime having a face, but that just looks really bad, maybe becuase he has no nose. I really hope he wears his face plate most of the time.

Remember when the live-action movie designs were revealed years ago and everybody pitched a fucking fit because the faces were composed of segmented panels and everyone was all like "Man, why couldn't they just have kept the smooth metal faces like the G1 cartoon that would totally have been fine this is the worst thing ever!"

They really made the character's proportions odd didn't they, very cartoonish looking. I like cartoonish, but I thought they were attempting a little more realism. So the decision feels a little abrupt. I bet the humans are gonna look really odd in cgi, I would have definitely prefered hand drawn animation to cgi.

Prime's face needs some lines and some lips, maybe a lengthened helmet/ nose piece. As is it's not bad, but it feels a little off

G1 wasn't a flat shiny piece with a hole for a mouth, they actually had lines like a human face would have or geometric shapes at the least . Even animated optimus had lips and mouths in animated would have wrinkle lines when a mouth pulled into different expressions ie a smirk.

 

Look out Prime! Someone took most of your face!
The Fallen will be laughing all the way to season 3. Then he will start laughing at how thin the stories get.

Hahaha, I'm so with Prime on this one. Seriously though, his face is not as

bad as everyone else is making this out to be. So looking forward to this.

 

 

I'm still really looking forward to it regardless, just I'm still not seeing a nose and it's freaking me out, looks like an injury   Still, I'm all up for new creative directions and that, the old stuff isn't harmed by it... Bring it.

The face could use a few more lines, but that mouth is the single most terrible thing about it. It just looks off, and not just because of the lack of nose.

 

Hopefully we'll get another clip soon, with proper sound. I'd like to hear Cullen's voice.

That was Cullen in the clip. I admit, it looks loads better with the better quality. And Bulkhead is seen talking as well. His jaw moves exactly like in Animated.
