After initially finding one a couple weeks ago & having to pass (due to a faulty fender,) I came across a couple Stealth Force Barricades at Target tonight, I didn't just dream it!

WFC Soundwave...who's just a leeeetle bit loose. Wouldn't go as far as to call him floppy, but he's not got the tightest joints I've ever seen on a TF.

Generations Darkmount (Straxus) from Target in NJ...

    A nice surprise.

ALL joints are tight with the exception of the "above the knee" swivel.

Highly detailed fig. Nice rotating cannon in alt mode. Loaded with weapon "clip-on" bars.

Bot mode is rather nice. Has articulaion in all the right places. Even a waist swivle. Ball jointed feet are nice but pretty limited... A nice bonus is an elbow "inside the arm" joint. I've never seen an elbow / arm with this joint. Very nice if you want to pose with two hands holding the ax. Nice touch Hasbro...

I wanted mine to stand up taller, so I chose NOT to clip the toso together and let the back joint hold up the wieght. Luckliy my joints are tight. It helps stretch him out and the backpack is higher up, too...

Paint apps are surprisingly nice. I've noticed three "pieces" of grey plastic coated with blue paint. Hasbro usually leaves them unpainted, so I was happily surprised that they did the right thing and matched the blue paint scheme...

The red can be a bit much on the arms. I may swap out some of Skullgrin's parts and see if there's an improvement... But the red trangles are a nice nod to the fans...

    7.5 out of 10

I got an Energon/Armada constructicon for 8 bucks at an antique store. I don't know his name, but he looks like a monster truck almost with constructicon colors. In bot mode he has an eye patch like Demolishor. If anyone knows his name feel free to inform me.

    Is it this guy?

    Dirt Boss (2005) - Decepticon - www.tfu.info

If so, it's a Cybertron figure but still not a bad figure overall. One of the few Cybertron figures I own.

I am intrigued by Darkmount. It's not a figure that I usually buy but from the pictures it looks to be a fun toy to have around. Besides I missed a chance to get another bot that has alt mode of a tank and a bot mode of a samurai swordsman (name escapes me now.. Blungeon?)

picked up Titaniums Soundwave (because I'm not paying 80 bucks for an MP3 player that will just end up sitting on a shelf :D ) and Legends Cybertron Red Alert.
