Oh darn it was about time with Rumble and Frenzy. I mean I really like Ravage and Laserbeak but it just seemed like something was really missing without the rest of the crew getting updated.

And a two pack at that so I can track them both down at the same time.

 

So, where's Arcee...?   Might as well, since Jazz, Wheeljack, Kup and anyone else is finally coming out, so lets see some official Fembot action.

 

Rumble being the same size as Cyclonus and Soundwave is in scale, if your scale is Five Faces of Darkness.

But, they'll also be to scale with Universe Overkill, Ratbat, and Beast Wars Metals Ravage.

Oh, and Rumble better be blue. And Frenzy better be red.

 

"Hoilgar" (Ho i ru ga ru) is awfully close to a butchered reading/pronunciation of the Japanese kana for "Wheeljack" (Ho i-ru ja kku). I'd guess that's him.

No idea re: "Tobura", but I'm guessing somebody's butchering it...

 

You're probably going to be disappointed, then. Because every Hasbro and Takara Rumble toy has been red. Even the Japanese cartoon called the blue one Frenzy.

I need to put this in a sig, because no one seems to realize this no matter how many times it's stated.


Anywho, I wonder if, being a Voyager, they'll be two scouts with some accessories or a vehicle they attach to...

 

I'm seriously pumped for Rumble and Frenzy. Personally, I'd rather have had them do a voyager pricepoint toy with a deluxe soundwave and two legends sized casseticons, but it's better than nothing! As for Kup and Wheeljack, I'm not surprised. Wheeljack has been begged for for practically forever and Kup, well, seeing him in a new design in the front of the Rodimus-Cyclonus battle pack comic sealed the deal.

 

I only wish Hasbro would release Thundercracker for sale now. With as successful as Thrust and Dirge have been so far I would think that they would make money off it.

 

2011 Generations line is going to rock! Wheeljack is a must buy! The others in the united line are intriguing. Can't wait for pics.

 

Nothing is ever in scale. Ever. Keeping an "in scale" collection or display is a bit like those posters where you have to squint and stab yours eyes to see the sailboat.

 

I would totally if Frenzy and Rumble either combined in vehicle mode ala Ice Cream Truck twins or had some symmetrical docking action going on. I'm a sucker for combiners. (I'm on the RIRFIB side.)

 

Rumble/Frenzy need to be packaged in such a way that it's ambiguous which is which.

 

It must be different where I live, because some stores here have nothing but Thrust and Prime on the hooks, with the occaisional Drift and BB. Dirge has barely been out enough to be a success. I hope we get Sunstorm before TC, simply because there isn't another way to get him...

 

How long has it been since we had a Wheeljack toy? Well, maybe we will expect one in the movie toys.

 

Five scary, scary years? Or just three or so if you count Downshift.

 

You should learn to read as your signature states.  

As it's been pointed out every toy of Rumble has been red and of Frenzy (besides the Gobots figure) has been blue.

Also Takara's G1 cartoon had the blue guy called Frenzy and the red and black guy as Rumble, not the other way around as the American cartoon showed.
