That's an interesting ruor about Rumble and Frenzy...

Now that we've seen Skids and Mudflap as an ice cream truck, I think the duo could be done...

I'm not partial to pink, but if R n F could combine into an alt mode or weapon set. I'll think about buying them...

Yes why wouldn't we, several sites have the Hasbro versions up for preorder (BBTS, the OTCC).

Probably, I've been suggesting such since BotCon 2007 when Sideswipe & Sunstreaker were revealed. It only makes sense with how much similarities they share in vehicle and robot mode.

The words "Tobura" and "Hoilgaru" don't have a meaning in Japanese. Additionally, "Hoilgaru" is impossible, since they don't use the letter "L," but the -garu suffix indicates that it might be a beast of some sort.

While I'm incredibly happy about all this news, I am now praying that we get a CHUG Soundwave down the line. I know he has a new WFC figure, as well as (most likely) another movie figure on the way, but he is the glaring gap in the Decepticon line up. Besides, we now have a classics Ravage and an upcoming Frenzy and Rumble set, its time for a properly updated Soundwave.

QQ'ing aside, all these look and sound great. I'm incredibly excited about the upcoming year in the TF world. We are getting plenty of updated G1 characters, and we know TF: Prime figures are somewhere in the future. On top of that, if the recent HFtD line is anything to go by, HasTak are getting better with the movie character designs. So, hopefully TF3 will bring us the best versions of each movie character yet. It's a good time to be a TF fan

Yes, having a semi-decent understanding of Japanese that was my first thought as well. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time that Takara has had weird ass names attached to their Transformers that, quit frankly, have little to no meaning in any language. Sometimes, a name is just a name. I'm thinking that BBTS is saying something more along the lines of 'name will be updated when we find out who the character is'. Kind of like how, I'm sure that both Prime's and Kup were probably given to them in a list as Convoy/Battle Convoy and Char seeing as that's the Japanese names of those particular characters.

 

Yes, finally a new Wheeljack figure. If i can get him, it'll be my first figure of him. Also, when the new G2 Optimus was mentioned, wasn't a new deluxe Bumblebee figure mentioned aswell.

 

I really hope Rumble and Frenzy don't have a vehicle alt mode. I rather they turn into small devices

 

Rumble and Frenzy as a VOYAGER 2-pack? You mean they'll each be the size of Deluxes? So much for keeping everything in scale. Curious to see how this one will turn out. And yay, Wheeljack!
