Shia LaBuff: "While that's flattering as hell, you could have put Frankie Muniz into any of the movies I've been in and it would've still been No.1."

    I don't understand....

So Shia is still an ass? Is that what you're implying? Ok.

I think he just put himself on the level of the person he was trying to insult.

He was tolerable in Disturbia, and Wall Street is getting pretty good reviews, though not necessarily because of Shia.

He was really good in Wall Street. Honestly, I always put him down as an actor, but Wall Street showed me he has the ability to act extremely well. I was impressed.

Man, don't mess with the actor who can go to his director and get a metric ton of explosives at a moment's notice.

So what's the problem? Sounds to me like Shia's equally cutting himself down by implying that he himself feels so nondescript that he's disposable and replaceable.

Heheh. Against my better judgement I decided to read the story, and I gotta say.... Frankie responded with the EXACT same thing I was thinking about Shia's remark:

I mean, seriously, Muniz is even vaguely relevant anymore? Malcolm in the Middle ended, what, 4 years ago? What has he done of note since then?

Muniz spends most of his time racing cars.

Shia must really be losing it.

Didn't bother reading the article, but if that one quote of Shia's is what's causing the whole fuss, then I don't get it. Basically he's saying that the CGI and the robots are the stars of the TF movies and that anyone could play the role of Sam and it'd still be no. 1. So where's the insult at?
