I'm honestly torn on that MG now. My collection has gotten so filled with 00 kits...and I'll be quite frank, I've yet to watch the second season. But at the same time, I just LOVE a finely engineered piece of plastic. It looks like a fun build, but it's really getting to the point I'm buying variants on a theme, most of which I've not even seen in the anime ><

Mebbe I'll just save up for the PG Strike Freedom and MG The O....

Honestly, I think this guy's more awesome in person than you'd think =D Bought this to fill in for Officer/Instructor use Mobile Suit in my comic, and that'll be yet seen. Anyways, here's more of the hangar and stuff.

As a teaser, my next kit... is of a different scale.

    1/400 scale.

    Yeah.

    ahh.... gotta love cannon fodder...

    speakin of...

i'm planning to buy (for next year, sadly cant be sooner) enough 1/100 (NG/HG) MS grunts for my comic... since i want variety i'm planning to get a little bit of everything, from zakus, to serpents, to ginns to tieriens... but i would like to know which should i buy first? since the way i want to work with requires a lot of posing and abuse (due to the usual photoshop cloning and stuff)

    any advise?

The Serpents are decent kits. Less floppy that the Gundams due to slightly different construction methods, but still not as good as anything that came out after SEED.

And then, as far as that goes, you've only got the ZAKU Warrior from SEED Destiny, and then the Tieren Ground Type and Overflag from Gundam 00.

1/100 scale is not friendly to grunts, unless they're from UC, and then they'll get MG models instead.

So, where do we go for our Gundam news fix, since Ngee Khiong has turned in his hat?

    No idea.

However, is it just me or does 00 Quan[t]'s crest look a little... big?

GunJap is a very good replacement. It's not as well laid out as Ngee was, but it gathers all the news very well and in english, so it'll work. Heck, as long as it gives me a bunch of action figure news in addition to GunPla and gets it to me in a timely manner, I'm happy.

I believe it also gives you a bigger shield! I can make any of the 3 units, but i LOVE Unit 1 the most so...

The actual kit is a conversion kit for either a gm or a ground type mg. The gun is just a badass gun i got in case they don't give me the blaster that is in another picture. Looks like a grenade launcher, but if it doesn't come with it, i got this much nicer looking one.

So are you gonna have to paint the rest of your GM/RX-78G to fit the colors of the kit?

By the way, BD-1 is my absolute favorite unit, so I'm really keen on the details for this conversion kit.

Yeh that conversion kit looks neat but I have no customisation skills what so ever.

Yea i've been searching for this conversion for 4 years now... I lost it when i finally found it in stock. I search for it every day. XD

The sad thing is it really only uses the joints of the kit, everything else gets replaced.

    The conversion set:

Sucks i'm going to have to take apart one of my Ground types from my 08 ms team diorama, but it was an oob build i can always replace it in the future! If only i could find someone selling a built one, i'd really only want it for the parts i need. XD Time to go search for one.

That's the reason why I haven't gotten any Resin kits either...I'd like to tackle one, but...I'm a little intimidated by all the work invovled.

It's also hinted that we're getting a Double X too.

I'm totally willing to bet that Bandai's HG treatment is a prelude to a MG treatment. In fact, now that I think of it, X is the ONLY series to not have at least it's "main" Gundam MG'd.

MG X would be sooooooooooo sexy :3

Yep, X is the only series/ova/movie left to have no MG representation, unless you're sick and count G-Saviour!

Maybe Bandai intends to swap X and V over once they've done MG V2 and HG XX.
