It's ironic that I see this post while I'm watching Con Air.

Don't ask me why I'm watching Con Air. I have no idea. I guess I like pain.

Ah. This suggests he's an annoying, time-hogging cameo like Rainn Wilson as the College Professor, or Bernie Mac as Bobby Bolivia. No disrespect to Bernie Mac though.

Sad, that it looks like Malkovich is reduced to this. However, one could interpret his line about working with the others one way or another.

    1. He just says it was great to be involved in a film with Shia, Rosie, Turturro, and the rest.
    2. Or he actually got in the middle of some Decepticon attack or something with the others.

    Betting the former.

Great. A guy who mumbles and slurs his way through every role - with a lisp. *yawn*

Perhaps one of the most overrated actors of all time along with Sean Connery and Jack Nicholson, don't get me wrong they're probably good at the roles they do but it's the only roles they're good at doing!!!

Fantastic actor. Making Mr. Right (1987) and in the music video for Walking on Broken Glass by Annie Lennox FTW.

just glorified cameos through the whole movie with the tertiary characters..they do nothing but come in spout off mind numbingly bad dialogue chew up precious time from the robots then disappear never to be seen nor heard again.....this is one of the reasons why Bays films suck giant camel penis...each scene in his films is like a bad skit from a sub par sketch program....I have no hope for this film being any better than the last pile of crust he made

Just one day of filming? For an actor like him, I'm not impressed at all.

    Just GTFO.

Malkovich if anything is one of the most underrated actors of all time.

The internet... it's for varying opinions! (didn't have time to make a motivational poster)

Seriously people, I'm not a big Malkovich fan either, but I'm not going to tell somebody else they're wrong for liking him or vice versa! All that does is solidify one's ignorance.

Most of the interview was about "Secretariat" more so than TF 3.

Yes, but some opinions are just stupid.

Racism is beneficial is an opinion. A stupid one.

The man said Malkovich is overrated (I don't think so, but ok) then proceeds to say Jack Nicholson and Sean Connery are overrated?

Then he proceeds to state that Sean Connery doesn't have range (so I'm assuming he's saying the same for Nicholson), then mentions the amazing range of Al Pacino?

Pacino ( one of my faves) has been playing the same character for the last decade.

His opinion is his, it's just a stupid one.

I was however, hoping for an in depth role for Malkovich, I think I would have rather see him be a villian than Patrick Dempsey, mainly because I think he has the smugness and cold nature to be a Decepticon.
