The green eyes are a problem, but I'm more bothered by the fact that they didn't paint the gray band around his entire head. Every pic where he's not facing straight into the camera makes me think, "Aw, that's too bad..."

So wish that I could afford him. That is a great update. I love the new face sculpt

For Christ sake... Please transform him correctly and raise his shoulder armor!

Lately I've seen too many Unicrons with those pieces down. You want him to look big and devastating or stumpy and feeble?

Nice face and colour wash, but horribly overpriced. Still don't care for that orange, either. Would be more interested in a Movieverse version, even if it was just a new paint job. Maybe I'll make one myself, once I've finished up my other customs.

wow.....that is much, much better looking than I had anticipated. I'm actually a little sad I missed out on tfsource's preorder (which was reasonably priced). Oh well.

    WOW.

Thanks so much for sharing those great images and impressions! Like others, I had no idea he had so much detail to him. I don't know much about paint deco'ing on the manufacturer side of things, but that looks like it took extra TLC to apply-wipe that paint and give him a more realistic touch. Nice new headsculpt, too!

wow, that is like 100x better than Armadacron in just about every way. I mean, the proportions are still wack, but the better color break up accentuates it less...

I have to say the new paint job and head sculpt is dead on of what he looked like in the animated film. But I like the Armada/Universe version that I have, I'll paint it the same colors as this one so that its accurate.

Wow, THAT is the definitive Classics/whatever Unicron! They really made all the details pop out with all the subtle lining paint apps in the arms and such.

However, as awesome as he is I won't be getting him. Of the few TF's I had before the whole break between Energon and the movie, Unicron was the only one I consistently played with during those years of fading childhood, so I'm still attached to mine.

The head doesn't look right, too simplistic. I think I prefer the Armada head, but besides that everything else is superior.

I encourage everyone to check out optibotimus' video review. His review. And check out his other reviews as well. They're all good. Shoot because of him I'm trying to find myself a set of oldschool McDonalds transforming food robots. I got all nostalgic seeing those things. Lol.

Mine will be displayed with my classics or on the new shelving I built specifically for toys. All in all it is still a great mold and I will still be keeping my originals. Waiting for more stuff to come in before shipping my POL.

    Thanks for the pix.:thumb

    Looking foward to getting mine

Look great but having a complete armada Unicron I could not justify the price especially with me getting the Predaking reissue.

Overall he's really good. I only have 1 complain about this Unicron is that he's not totally round in planet mode. How I wish this is the unrelease Beast War mold.

->optibotimus : In your review you didn't mention about the blue coloured section on the 2010 Unicron box which is suppose to match up with the 2010 Primus coming soon. I'm guessing you'll be getting that as well :)  ?
